Where would Caddy go in 2012

missing the point, your impatient and obviously have no idea how negotiations work.

That was the AFL's decision, not either of the clubs. In my opinion Ablett would be worth pick 1 and 2 but that was never going to happen by the AFL. Regardless not going to derail any further.

Read up about negotiations perhaps.

Caddy is barely worth a first rounder, let alone two.

Deal with it.

Oh no, I should reevalute my worth for I don't meet up to your almighty standards

Heaven help gold coast and GWS When the 16 other clubs come knocking at the same time to Gut both lists or when a player wants to go to either club any player is now going to be worth 3 1st rounders

somehow i dont think any player finishing 18th in there club best and fairest is even worth One 1st rounder so whoever gets Caddy is paying massive Overs

Better tear up your membership flog. Obvious you dont agree with your club's staff and development/talent scouts.

Good get, Cats. Lose Ablett, get two good young players in exchange, one year apart - that's how compensation was supposed to work. Would have loved to get him at North, but can't complain at being trumped by a special pick we never had because we didn't lose anyone. FWIW I don't have any reason to disbelieve the whispers that he would have preferred North, but don't begrudge him keeping it flexible for the Suns by giving them a few good clubs to talk to.

Quality and rational. :thumbsu:

Hilarious. So many North supporters were desperate for Caddy, and would not accept that he might not end up with him. Were actually quite aggressive about it if I recall correctly.

Well done Cats. Always seemed like the most likely trade to happen in trade week once GC stopped overstating his worth.

Looking forward to others joining me on Hard_To_Beat's ignore list.

Sorry HS and Channel Ten have been taken out of context Caddy is not going to Geelong ;)

Happy Caddy has chosen Geelong, hopefully now North and Geelong can work out a fair deal for HM.
