Hopefully, I only need to say this one more time.

He is not a Crows player any more, who cares what he does. Time to move on and get over it.

Game day - you saying someone is a shit commentators, like I care.
Craig - whit he was a coach at our club. Once he's gone, what do I care.
Kurt Tippett has gone. Move the **** on and build a bridge.

if it wasn't for the fact that it said you supported adelaide alex, i would almost assume you were in fact kurt tippett (or blucher)... we have every right to be disgusted by how Moneybag$ left the club... if you don't like it, don't read it...simple as that!

since he'll be retiring from footy

edit: HA! here he is!

It's time for you to get over what other people are talking about and move on. Nobody is forcing you to read these threads, and nobody is forcing you, nor asking you, to respond to them. You're over it, other people aren't, deal with it.

12 months de-registered... unable to train with an AFL or affiliated club or comp. Send a very strong message that if you in any way attempt to tamper with the draft there will be consequences. ATM he/Blucher are behaving as though KT's an unrestricted free agent - the I won't play anywhere but Sydney... it just shouldn't be tolerated by anyone.

Hmm...just wondering if this is bad timing for Kurt (and us). Demons have made a complete fool of Vlad. AFL seems in disarray in terms of policing its rules.

Some evil part of me hopes that he puts a price on his head that only sydney can afford and then the AFL rule that Sydney can't draft him due to shenannigans and Kurt ends up SOL for next year

Melbourne have done exactly what the system allowed them to. Not that anyone could argue that it actually helped them! ;)

It's not character assassination if the target hasn't any character to begin with.

Who's behaving like a petulant child? This is NOT a cult like environment. It's a place where people can vent or celebrate. At the moment, it's a venting place. Not unlike when you vented about Craig (over and over again).

Funnily enough reading alex's posts in here i was wondering if he was Neil Craig what with all the emotions dont matter, the machine will reabsorb the old cog again and be just like it was crap.

You may have missed this, but the AFL haven't allowed us to de-list Kurt yet, so technically he's still a Crows player.

In all seriousness, I would love to see him go to a shit club where he will be a perennial loser and not make the finals, let alone be a contender for the rest of his career.

GWS are so stacked with talent that there is a still a chance that Kurt will end up playing in a flag towards to end of his career. However, if he went to Melbourne, he would be ****ed for the rest of his football life. He will go to a club that won't sniff a flag for at least the next decade (especially with AFL set to come down heavy on them). On top of that he will end up with a footy crazy state where he will still be under the microscope and the beauty in all this is that Melbourne just might be stupid enough to pay Kurt $4 million over the next 4 years.

IMHO, that would be the ultimate end result.

I'm actually curious to see what will be the AFL's reason for punishing the Demons, can a team be penalised for not 'wanting' to win, is there a rule against that? They'll probably have to settle for the old line; "bringing the game into disrepute".:D

EDIT: On second thoughts maybe 'Draft Tampering' will do.

The Olympic badminton organization sent a few teams home this year for doing that very thing.

Jen you raise a very interesting example. If I was running melbs defence that badmington footage would be exhibiti A to demonstrate tanking. Everything else is list management.

As long as he was getting paid the absolute most he could, this wouldn't bother Kurt. Team success isn't as important as financial reward for Kurt, he'd rather count money than friends (4 life)

not sure about that. he wouldn't have chosen sydney otherwise. he wanted both, lots of $$$ and a potential premiership.

Port would be a dream, go play for a team in the same state with more focus on you, less money and unlikely to make finals anytime in the next 3-4 years let alone challenge for a flag.

More likely GWS though, at least he'll still be in a team getting smashed every week for the next 2-3 years.
