Armstrong. This is a kid that has a bad game and kicks three goals. He is just a natural all round forward.

He’s also the kid who had by far the best midfield and defence giving him a multitude of opportunities and only averaged 9 touches a game.

I wouldn't mind taking a punt on a player line James Barrat with our last pick.

194cm, 3.01 20m sprint, 8.29 agility makes him a very good athlete and plays with a lot of aggression. Played midfield at times. Kicked 22 goals @3 per match as a forward, settled in defence. B&F Pioneers winner. Senior footy at 14. They say he plays like Balta but a touch of Rance in there as well.

Could be worth a punt and at 194cm and a good mark, he could turn into a proper marking forward (or back).

I really want Barrat with one of our later picks!! I hope we keep sliding back for futures and nab him in the 30s.

wouldnt have thought a kpf key indicators would include racking up touches.

Don’t expect him to be racking up touches but his competition for KPF

J. Whitlock - 16
Shannahan - 13
Faull - 13
Sims - 12

So he’s finding the ball 30% less than his contemporaries despite probably getting greater and more accurate supply from his midfield (Ashcroft, Reid, Oliver, Trainor, Marshall etc.)

Don’t get me wrong I like him and think he’s probably a shade better than those other guys, he’s a beautiful kick, brilliant at ground level and has shown the ability to take a big mark. But I’m not convinced on his football nous and don’t think he’s as competitive or works as hard as Faull.

He also gets a lot of his goals out the back or just sitting in space on a bad turn over as opposition try to clear 50 and then Ashcroft or Reid cut them up.
