Byron Pickett bumps video on YouTube is a pretty damn good watch.

A disappointing package, I must say. Too cold? Exhaustion? Who knows.

There's plenty of quality players, but some are more freakish than others.

Who do you think has the best highlights package?
My short list is
Tony Modra
Gary Ablett Snr
Warrick Capper
Darren Jarman
Peter Daicos
Eddie Betts

Who else would rate amongst them?
Of the named players - and I would add Dusty to that list - Gary Ablett Senior had it all - speed, sheer strength, classy goals, marking, and longevity - whereas the named players didn't IMO.

I grew up watching 90s footy (and hence 80s footy on any of the many VHS my dad had) so I'm particularly biased to that era but...how anyone can still talk about players from that era as being better than those of the last 20 years are just living off nostalgia. Standing out in the modern day would be infinitely harder than back then.

I agree with the Cyril, Betts nominations, always a fun watch. For the less explosive I really enjoy watching Pendlebury - the way he finds a pocket of space, as if time slows down, has always been phenomonal. Guess it depends on what kind of highlights you want to see.

Eddie Betts?
A good reel and a champion of the game no doubt, but a bit repetitive don't you think? Compare his goals with GAS. He could kick massive torpedo punts, goals on the run, goals when taking the ball out of a ruck competition, goals from speccy marks, etc
