Genuinely feel for himScott Gumbleton. Not his fault that his body completely didn't cooperate. Had he stayed injury free, he'd still be playing today.

Showing every sign of being handy.Josh Schache COULD have been a victim of this thread, but his last 6 weeks has been super promising. Might end up being a bargin for the Bulldogs.
I’m not sure if Ryan Murphy was just another WAFL gun who wasn’t good enough at AFL level, or if he just didn’t get the right chance.Showing every sign of being handy.
I remember Ryan Murphy at Freo showing a lot in a final.
Andrew McDougall had one good year at WC and looked a player.
Leigh Fisher looks good before injuries cut him down.
Pat Bowden from the Dogs looked very likely early but just never had the intensity. One ok year at Tigers.
Shane Harvey. The word was that as kids Shane was the better of the two. Just couldn't get it together at AFL level.
Heading down a slightly different path, but why did Nick Sautner never get a run at AFL level? Nine-time Frosty Miller Medallist, but was never on a list to my knowledge?
Ah, so he was a full forward? My mail is because he was arrogant, narcissistic and it was all about him - egomaniac with zero team values. I believe his skills got him close with the Sainters but when they spent time with him he was cut...for the above mentioned reasons.
Did kick the winning goal in a huge upset against the Pies in 2014 but they were his only moments of noteI remember about 7 or so years ago watching a Sunday game between the Power and Bulldogs. They nicknamed this guy King Tutt because of his amazing game.
I didn't much or anything about him after that.

I posted this guy earlier. Was playing div 3 Northern Footy League by the time he was 28.Scott Gumbleton. Not his fault that his body completely didn't cooperate. Had he stayed injury free, he'd still be playing today.
Luke Tapscott. Built like a brick shithouse, powerful as anything.
Pity his hips were stuffed.
