Think again about Collingwood's idiginous talent...

Davis and Medhurst would arguably be in the top five Indiginous talent. Than it does go downhill but these players are in the team, young and have bright futures, Wellingham, Dick and Cox. Than there is Corrie is handy.

It has been underrated in this thread.

port adelaide's aboriginals are pretty good as are hawthorn's... essendon's would have to be the flashiest and quickest but not as reliable as other teams

geelong: stokes, travis and adam varcoe, djerrkurra, ediriwickrama, stevon motlop

not there yet but lot of potential in that group

the last 5 could easily be in geelong's best 22 through the next 3-5 years

could have looked a lot nicer with andrew lovett playing for us aswell

Not aboriginal he is Sri Lankan, Adam Varcoe and Stevon Motlop have only played about two games between them in the VFL. Still got a long way to go.

Hawthorn easily with Franklin Rioli Bateman Williams - 1 superstar, two bona fide stars and a very good player. I think Port have got the Bombers covered with the Burgoynes although is Peter in the twilight?

am i wrong in thinking that michael osborne is part-aboriginal?? if so, he would be the decider for those unsure of hawks vs ports vs pies vs dons, surely.

i could be wrong, but i've got a feeling he is.

If he has it must be very small

Wirrapanda, Cockie and Bedford

yeah!

With the quality of rookies still around why did West Coast use their first pick on Bedford. Failed on Geelong's list and now he's in the WAFL reserves. Is he carrying an injury or is there something special I'm not seeing in him?

Ryder, Lovett, Dempsey, Davey and Jetta are all far better than Collingwood's players except Davis.

Dick has clearly shown more than Jetta and there couldn't be a more like for like comparison.

Wellingham has shown as much as Dempsey and Cox is pretty good. If I was to rank Collingwood's and Essendon's together it would read...

Davis
Medhurst (although people are telling me he is of asian decent)
Ryder
Lovett
Davey
Wellingham-Dempsey
Dick
Cox

I'd say COllingwood wins in the battle of indiginous players...

Franklin is better than Collingwood's alone.
Williams, Bateman, Rioli and Stokes massacre Collingwood's contingnent. Both in talent and runs on the board.

Leon Davis is the only one who could compete as a peer with the Hawk boys. I will give bonus points to Dick who was magnificent on Monday, I look forward to his further development.

Goodes and Davis have been the best this year. McLeod is the best over his career. Franklin has the most potential. There are a few ways you can rate them. Most of Ports indigenous players have been pretty flat recently.
