Even though they're my second favourite team, i'd say the Saints

- like watching Harvey play, and Montagna can run through the lines, but apart from that

Don't mind watching the Roos - Bomber Harvey is great to watch, as is Wells (wish he'd get it more), Thomas is good too

Cats would be best to watch esp Ablett & Johnson
Agreed.:thumbsu:

Saints are boring to watch because of the negative brand that Lyon incorporates. I'm sure if they had a better coach who could actually nurture some of the talent in the side they'd be far better to watch.

Geelong are the best to watch. They play the way footy should be played: Fast, attacking, skilful, yet entirely team oriented and unselfish.

Sydney and St kilda

North melbourne and Melbourne

The rest.

I'd say Melbourne. St Kilda always have a huge following, and generate a lot of discussion no matter how they're going. On the other hand, I just don't think a lot of people care about Melbourne, they just seem vanilla to me.
Think of any other Victorian club changing the boss mid season, even last year when Daniher went there just wasn't the interest/discussion I reckon any other club would generate.

For a few years I've thought that the Crows were the most boring team - so defensive it's like watching someone hitting a ball against a wall.

Then I went to see the Crows-Dogs game at the G last year and found the way they took the Dogs apart - and watching McLeod running the whole show - fascinating. But that thrill has faded and I really have to brace myself to watch the Crows this year - even if I expect it to be a close game.

I can watch just about any other team. Even the Saints though they play some shockers - especially against the Swans (and last Friday was unwatchable). Obviously, I love watching Swans games but when we go into our shell it's so frustrating that it becomes dull - that's nearly always when we're playing North, Saints or the Crows (of course).

The team I often enjoy watching at present are the Tigers. Love watching the kids and Brown - and Richo is to forwards what Leo Barry is to backs: a completely random and rogue element so you never know how it'll work out but you know he bleeds for his team.

Was Sydney with that congestion style crap, defensive rubbish, but the Saints are closing fast.People can say,oh but Sydey won a flag, still doesn't make it good to watch.Close games aren't always good games when both these teams play pack football crap

St Kilda by the length of the Flemington Straight. You could be in a strip club with **** in ya face, and a Saints game would be on in the background and you would fall asleep.

North and Sydney

I think North have the most boring players, and Sydney are the most boring to watch.

I'm suprised to see so many people say north Melbourne, they play hard contested footy, and I always enjoy watching them.

Sydney are pretty dull, same Saints. Hawthorn - when Buddy has is they're great to watch, when the cluster/zone/flood gets going I switch off the TV, I hate that crap.

only 3 ppl have... there is still hope yet

In order I am too bored by these teams to watch them generally. If they play each other then I run away

Adelaide, Hawks, St Kilda, Freo, Swans.

You could pick on the lower teams on the ladder such as Melbourne but that wouldn't be fair.. and they've got some great players like Green, Bruce, White etc..

I would have to say North Melbourne.
Their list lacks big names, and they don't seem threatening when teams line up against them, but that has worked in their favour no doubt.

I still think they're a good side, but Harvey would be there biggest name. He's an awesome player, but they need a few more stars I think. Players with potential need to become more consistent so they can be classed in this way. Such as Daniel Wells and Harris.

In terms of a team I don't like watching. IT would have to be Port Adelaide.. no real grudge, i just feel they play some pretty sterile footy sometimes. Some may say the Swans are boring to watch but at least they go in hard, same as the Saints.

Saints are complete under-achievers which is a shame for them. They do have big names, but their inability to play as a team has prevented their success. I think there is still time for them to be a successful side with their current list, they'll definitely have to maintain Riewoldt at the club though.

St kilda are easily the most boring team to watch, they have not one thing about them that's exciting. Anyone who says Sydney are the most boring team hasnt watch them play much this year then.

In order:

1. Essendon
2. St. Kilda
3. Melbourne

are the most boring

St Kilda and Sydney.

Although Adelaide and Port dont get me too excited.

People are saying Sydney are kicking goals so that must mean they're exciting. I disagree, they still clog up the game and play to stoppages and flood like anything. It's just they're so good on the counter that means they kick goals. Still frustrating to watch.

In terms of game plan, St Kilda probably have the worst to watch. Not that I find it boring seeing as everyone gets excited watching their own team play.

In terms of players etc. as mentioned in the OP, probably North Melbourne and Essedon. Brent Harvey and maybe Lovett and Lonergan occasionally are the only player from those two teams that comes to mind I really like to watch.
