Lol.

Match this midfield up against tip 4 midfields and it is nowhere near it

On SM-G975F using BigFooty.com mobile app

Adelaide and their midfield (esp Dawson) smashed us last season (in Gather round) and we made the Prelim Final.

It's not the best midfield going around, but i feel like the Crows midfield is now being really underrated/undersold, they also pushed Collingwood to the blink twice in 2023.

Or you keep doing what you’re doing and the rest of the league lose whatever little respect they had left for your club.
Oh no, no no! Pleeeeease respect my club!!! :(

Funny because Rachele smashed JHF in the showdown this year.

Port's depth is very poor in the mid, you've got an A grade starting 3 and not much else.
Yeah Port were terrible in the Showdown, what about the rest of the year?

I doubt even the most one eyed Crows fan would take Rachelle over JHF if they are honest with themselves.

Both Rachele and JHF will become incredible players.

I personally enjoy watching classy movers like Rachele the most, he's just so skilful. However I think JHF will develop into a physically dominant wrecking ball of a midfielder like Dangerfield was during his peak.

Right now I'm taking Rachele, but I think JHF will eventually become the better player.

But we are talking about potentially two of the best players in the competition here.

I don't think it's so black and white as 'Rachele and Pedlar are either forwards or mids', right now at least

I'd classify them both as hybrid fwd/mid players (putting the 'fwd' part most as that's where they currently spend most of their time), with the potential to become 'mid/fwd' or pure mids

Both have shown very good signs when put through the middle, Rachele mainly in the first half of 2023, and Pedlar in the second half. Rachele the classy type that is the last link in the chain at a CBA, Pedlar the aggressive bull that bursts from the contest. The hope is that they can increase their overall time in there next year, though

Looks like SEN have answered the question for us.

North
Adelaide
Hawks

says a fair bit about most of the other players theyve drafted when two player who havent even played a game are in their top 5 players under 24

what have they been doing for the last 5 years down the bottom of the ladder?

Strong assessment when finnlay McRae and Ginnivan are included
what does this have to do with north melbourne's top 5 players under 24 - especially when a different contributor wrote the north melbourne, collingwood and hawthorn sections?

do you disagree with their assessment of north melbourne?

Well I’d say the following would be stiff to be upstaged by guys that haven’t played

Bailey Scott - back to back top 3 in best and fairest

Paul Curtis - 19th in comp for goal assist ave in his second year, in a team that kicked the 2nd least goals. Also kicked 4 in a qrt and second best goal of the year

Eddie ford - just because he’s Eddie ford

Oh and phillips and Powell.

do you disagree with the assessment?

Harry Sheezel
Tarryn Thomas
Bailey Scott
Will Phillips
George Wardlaw (not enough games to be higher at this stage)

All are 23 or younger.

My best at the moment is LDU, too many injuries are holding him back, and he is 24, so not really 'young'.

He was pretty good this year, almost a break out, had some really good games. Not fancy, a solid pick in the top five, not in mine though. Better than Ginnivan.
I'm not even that big on Ginnivan, but 34 goals as a small forward at 19 is better than anything Jones has done.

There’s already compensation for ladder position; it’s why the draft is reverse ladder order. Priority picks aren’t given when your future is bright rather when there isn’t any incoming improvement evident. Point is you can’t have your cake and eat it too; you wanted handouts fine but you can’t also go around strutting that you have the best youth.
Why the **** not?

We used our handouts to get the best youth.

The way you're sposed to.
