Most of these don't appear as anything beyond what we've read all summer and a good portion is tongue in cheek as a direct response to what has been written all summer (2 players not being worth 1 of North's, Thomas will be AA, etc).

You have even quoted posts that are listing stats from the first week or analysing the performance of individuals in that game. That is not outlandish - they are actual facts.

Even the idea that you think posts like Newcombe > Powell is somehow outlandish, even though it was responded to by several posts declaring Powell to be a future Brownlow medallist, "Porsche" etc and Newcome having a low ceiling, amounting to nothing more than an "honest trier", "already peaked", "Toyota Camry", etc. At this stage, Powell has not proven he will significantly better so to think otherwise is not trolling. Same goes for Stephenson and Moore (which again, was more of a response to the all the off season posts saying the comparison was laughable)

There is nothing controversial about my comment in regards to Newcombe and Petracca. There is currently no second year or younger player other than Jai Newcombe in the competition with Petraccas physical make up.
It related back to comments surrounding comparisons to Tom Powell about who other clubs may select between the two.
A club that needs a strong, bullocking mid for the next decade who can also push forward may prioritise Newcombe. I mentioned Petracca because he is the current prototype and elite version of that description. You guys may have the next prototype in JHF.
Clubs who need a dynamic, well rounded mid with plenty of physical upside as he develops may prioritise Powell.

No, I am really not (blaming North fans). You suggested this thread had become a pissing contest (thanks to gloating Hawthorn fans) after the first few rounds this season. I argued that it has always been a pissing contest and that the first few rounds are no more outlandish or worse than what has been posted all off season.

I also am not focussing solely on 1 North Fans opinion. He is an easy example as one of the more prominent and biased posters in this thread (just as Dom is for us) but I have highlighted that a great number of North fans (including you) have argued throughout this thread many things that are now eliciting responses to the contrary.

Also, I encourage you to search by my posts in this thread and have a skim through before highlighting that I am "as biased as everyone". I think you'll find that not to be the case in general where in most comparisons, I have been very complimentary of the North youth and favoured their young player in many (if not most) of the head to head comparisons that I have provided an opinion on.

This didn’t happen at all. For context it was about Jeka having the most upside out of our tall forwards, based on his VFL form last year. Lewis has changed that with his form.

There simply was no Larkey vs Jeka discussion.

And because I thought the comment about Moore being "just solid, not great", in context to the other youth brought up in this thread was a terrible call.

Generally these type of outlandish posts were made by Norf fans, not Hawk fans!

I read that post re: Newcombe/Petracca, and I don’t think the poster was making a direct comparison in the sense that Newcombe could be the next Petracca. I understood he was just comparing some traits he has and/or could develop. Not saying he was a Petracca clone or would get to his level.

And TT is obviously a very good player and can get better. At this stage though, I can’t see him being a top 5 player in the comp. Maybe top 10-20 if he continues to improve.

And some of the supporter’s comments in this thread remind me all those years ago when they were blowing their trumpet about some blond plodder being better than S Mitchell. Harris I think his name was but he didn’t last many seasons in AFL.

Oh then there was the obsession with Cyril that Lindsay Thomas was his equal if not better after initially pushing and failing with the Matt Campbell
