Re: Whitecross offered a week - And the Hawks challenge a patently absurd charge

Fantastic news! As others have said, it shouldn't have even got to this stage though. Hopefully some sanity can start to prevail with MRP if they get overturned enough. I'm not holdiong my breath though.

Re: Whitecross offered a week - And the Hawks challenge a patently absurd charge

Breaking news sees AD on the phone making enquiries as to whether Goldspink is available on Sunday :D

Re: Whitecross offered a week - And the Hawks challenge a patently absurd charge

Thank fook.

Now, the question begs to be answered: should the MRP face disciplinary action for its incompetence, wasting our club's time and resources, as well as the AFL's? It's not like they don't have time to get ir right. They should all be stood down for a month.

Re: Whitecross offered a week - And the Hawks challenge a patently absurd charge

About ****ing time we got a break...

Now while we're on a roll we should appeal the carry over points on Lewie, Buddy and Cyril...they were in the same ballpark as this one I reckon.

Oh and suck sh!t AFL

Re: Whitecross offered a week - And the Hawks challenge a patently absurd charge

Let me have another go.......McBurny, Goldspink and Andrian Anderson umpiring the Hawks game this weekend, with AD in goals the fat pig

Come on mate, no need to be cruel....

To pigs I mean. That's just uncalled for.

Right decision was made, glad he got off the charge

Re: Whitecross offered a week - And the Hawks challenge a patently absurd charge

Are you serious - with some of the stuff that gets posted on here and your getting personal and labelling my comments defamatory because I said I thought they suck.

I have obviously hit a sore spot - so I apologise if I have offended you, one of your family members or one of your brethren.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean just you personally - it was a dig at the posters here who think that the club's legal advisors don't have a clue, while the BigFooty experts know better.

The lawyers who help with Hawk's appeals do it voluntarily, they do it because they love the club. Several of the group are experts in their fields.

And they know more than you, all of you, yes, all of you!

Re: Whitecross offered a week - And the Hawks challenge a patently absurd charge

I suspect he will get off.

Unlike all the other cases which were thrown out, he was standing still. I'm sure the definition of a bump, insomuch as it implies voluntarily propelling ones body towards anothers, rather than being in the unavoidable path.

thats why Lloyd in the brown incident got off he did not move towards brown even though we know where his eyes were while Brown had his in the air with the ball only to cop a broken nose from running into LLoyd

Re: Whitecross offered a week - And the Hawks challenge a patently absurd charge

I know it's the right thing but I still can't believe it. McBurney giving us favourable calls, what is happening?

Re: Whitecross offered a week - But justive, nay commonsense, actually sanity prevails.

just wanted to say im glad he got off.

common sense has prevailed!
