Who are the best balkers/dummy sellers you've ever seen play the game?

Sorry fellas, but Daicos by a country mile.

He could be in a pack of 4 or 5 players, take 3 steps and be 5 metres clear with a minimum of fuss. He was slow on his feet, but he had this innate sense of where to go to get clear, making the opposition clutch at thin air trying to get a hand on him.

Many of you would not have seen him play, but those that did, knew when he got the ball, he was rarely tackled and was the most damaging player by foot. Best player at Collingwood I have ever seen by a long way. And I have seen a few.

I agree. Daicos had that natural instinct of knowing where the space was and where the goals were. He was ten times better than your Steve Johnsons or Leon Davis'.

Another Magpie Mick McGuane could dodge a tackle or two. His goal against Carlton in 94? is still my favourite.

Ablett Jr is as good at stepping around a tackle as I've seen.

Agree on D.Jarman. Loved it in the '98 GF his dummy sell to Byron Pickett, then slotted it through.

What about this little bit of work from the big 204cm magpies
recruit from Milwaukee, USA. The bloke had never touched
a footy 6 months ago and a 7 year old girl had a better
kicking action than him.
Come middle of next year I reckon he'll be pushing
for senior selection

Honestly, you are naming Sidebottom as one of the best dummy sellers you've ever seen???
I think you need to watch more football.

It's a Collingwood thing. Commonly known as Fraser/Thomas syndrome.
