Fair call, but I wasn't really referring to my personal case. If you had traded him to Swan, the trade would probably have been worth it (can't be bothered doing the math). Again, we wont be able to make an accurate summation until the end of the season.

I guess it comes down to how you value a trade. If you traded out every premium that misses 2 games, you have less for upgrades. I don't think it is worth trading for 2 (especially when there was so many rookies providing good cover).

I don't think many of the people who traded him out thought he would only miss two games. Plus, I think if I recall I had no cover whatsoever.

Haven't you heard?? Ottens will be back in 2-3 weeks. Thats what they said last night, last week, 2 weeks ago, 3 weeks ago. Gee I could go on like that for 12 weeks.

Man I've had a lucky dt week! For some reason I had Nick Dal Santo as my Capt i wasnt aware of this until after lockout. any I was pretty pissed off coz I had D Swan and G ablett in my mids I purposely took Ablett off as Capt and thought I'd put D swan as replacement But to my horror I didnt! .I was so angry about that coz I was against 1st place ( I was second). As it turns out it did me a huge favor, I won my game by 2 points (2410 to 2408) and now thanx to that win I am now 1st.

Just to add to that, the trade is now worth 37 points since Ablett outscored Bartel by 37 this week
