My group has got 11 seats in the front row of the outer wing (of which I control 3) that will still be great seats when Koch and Hinkley are in their cold, cold graves.

Can't really afford to lose them if I still want to sit with my friend long term. If I had a GA membership it would have gone years ago under Hinkley.

Got a reply from the Club today, reasonably apologetic but as you said the increase is driven entirely by the AFL increasing the price of the WatchAFL subscription.

I did point out that while it’s understandable, I would have expected the Club to explain the increase with the renewal notice rather than have existing members chase them to find out why.

Based purely on the last season, Ken has earnt the right to coach out his contract.

Yes, well aware of the decade of failure etc - the time to sack him for that was then. His performance over the last 4 years has been decent.

Whether he deserved it at the time or not is a moot point now. Finishing 2nd and making a prelim is a decent season by any measure. I also feel he was dreadfully unlucky losing both Farrell and Houston (ie. most teams have injuries, but when they're in the same position, it makes things very difficult)

The club called me yesterday for renewal, I said to the guy, no, I'm not renewing until this loser and his pack of merry men are sacked, leave or fall into a hole somewhere. I then went on to say I have not been to a game at Adelaide oval due to donuts and the boys club bullshit, since these ****s have taken over I have lost both my Mother and Father who were both 3rd generation proud supporters of our ''once" great club.

The guy was rather silent and stuttered a bit and said, ahhh ok......

I hope I am wrong, but I can not see this loser going anywhere, he likes the money too much!

Do you know what sucks. I love going to the football (obviously), with my family. It sucks that this club and Ken has completely destroyed that experience. First time in over 15 years years I will not be a member of this club.

I literally hate doing it coz I love the club, but I can’t financially support this organisation anymore. Never listens to its clubs supporters.

The day Ken is sacked I will rejoin but until then I’m out
