In the Victoria-Dream Team game, when he kicked the goal (in the 3rd quarter), virtually the whole Dream Team came up to him and got in on the head rub.

G Abblet Jr won it last year. But I think that award isn't necessarily about respect, more about their form.

Bull its written exactly that way, its doesn't ask what players skills or ability to win a game are respected...just who is the most respected. Other than a wish to have everything be about Buddy (and he is a star) I cant see how you could have a problem with it.
