Opinion Who is Your Favourite Hawk of All Time?

I'm going to go against the trend and say Tucky. Skinny, unfashionable, less flashy. To me, ultimately footy is a TEAM game, and other Hawks have slightly superior individual records, but Tuck's team record is untouchable. By anyone, not just Hawk players. In the pantheon of great Hawks, I believe he is a little underrated. But check the record:

• *Hawthorn Premiership player 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991
• Hawthorn captaincy: 1986–1991, including captaining 4 Premierships.
• All-Australian Team: 1979, 1983
• Hawthorn Team of the Century
• Victorian representative (11 games, 5 goals)

Michael Tuck holds a number of VFL/AFL games records. These are:

• Most senior games: 426 for Hawthorn
• Most finals games: 39
• Most grand finals played in: 11
• Most premiership wins: 7

Like I said, cannot be touched. By anyone, ever.

Current player: Jordan Lewis... Gunston a possible future fav. Goo was equal fav until his retirement.

Past players: Buckenara, Brereton, Tuck, Knights. There were so many greats that it's hard to single one out. I could possibly throw Buddy in there.
