Copeland would have to be one of the better tacklers going around at the moment, IMO. He seems to be able to grab guys from impossible positions, and bring them to ground.

He tends to get into the game a lot quicker than the likes of Bolton and Headland too. Copeland has the ability to play as an impact player in many different roles across the ground.

I agree with Olmy re Copeland. He's the best tackler I've seen in my club's colours since ummm...Wally Matera! (seriously)

i still don't know about copeland .. i guess we'll find out on the weekend. hope bradshaw pulls up right though - it's going to be a bit hard if he doesn't.

Well I just got back from training.............and........

Braddy still didn't train.
Tho Black is fine.

And agree on Copeland, I have thought his tackling ability is one of his best assets actually.

We need a goal kicker..... Even though Braddy only kicks one or too goals each game, you have to start to worry when you can't think of a speciallist full forward if these two are out. I think what we should do is move brown to full forward. and add Kennedy and Dessy

Bradshaw wont play if he cant even jog after almost 2 weeks of rest.

All he has done is handball skills - perhaps to rest the leg - but probably not.

Headland & Kennedy will play to allow rotation of players through defence & attack.

I admire Cupido but I cannot see him getting a game at this late stage of the season unless someone else falls over.

This is most probably not the case with Braddy, but I recon you could really put the oppostion off with thier match preparation. If you have a player not train for a couple of sessions and work on his game behind closed doors or in his back yard or something and say that he has an injury, but you still have the intension of playing him in 100% condition, then your opposition could selecte a side that would cover for a diffent style of players. If you then brought him in the other side could have some match up problems.

There is no way that Brisbane would do that with Braddy, because his not an overly dominating player, but you just never know considering this means they have no specialist full forwards.

Yeah yeah, so I'm wishfully thinking.

Joshhem, I've been wishing that it's Leigh up to his tricks, but if he was planning something like that I think he would have used Voss and his hamstring as the injury because that would get the guys down at Richmond wetting their pants with excitement!

Anyone up in Brisbane, is this Bradshaw thing getting much coverage. Down in Melbourne, one article quoted that he is 'all but ruled out' so you can imagine how I'm feeling (probably the same way as all the other Brisbane fans).

I imagine they've been resting the calf because he would have been having a lot of pyshio, so running would aggrevate it. I think they will be working on his calf until just before the match if he is to play. IN the context of things, he would probably only kick 2 goals, which a replacement like cupido could do down forward, but I think we want him there for the mentality aspect. and also because he's worked so hard to make it back into the team.

after my big whinge, i'll just say that I think we could still win if he doesn't play. and if we can get a win without our two big forwards, then we definately deserve our spot in the GF
