Doesn’t it respawn for the new year (2025?)
They wouldn't have a clue who they should be supporting week to week - it's clear they have NFI as to how the finals system works, and are just happy to be contending for a finals spot.
With 3 or 4 interstate sides in the top 4, making a finals assault from outside of the top 4 as a Victorian club is...less than ideal, to say the least.
Last year they beat an interstate side at the G, then a laughably impotent Melbourne side (4 straight finals losses at the G).
If anything they should be hoping Geelong wins out from here, which would at least get them a home semi final possibility even if they finish 5th-8th. Otherwise it's a trip interstate to play GWS, Port, Brisbane or Sydney. Then again the week after in a prelim.
