Banter Carlton is better in 2024. Who will be better in 2025? Carlton or Collingwood? Part 3

Banter threads are not to be taken too seriously. Have fun. Let others have fun.

The funniest thing is that they will probably still miss finals.
Is that even funnier than last years premiership winners also not playing finals despite having the GOAT playing for them in the little scaredy cat who will never take a contested mark in his whole career and runs away from any form of physical contact?

Pies have been the most disappointing team this season but lets not get the truth in the way of shit talk shall we! 🤣🤣

Of course the Pies have been disappointing for a team that has played in more than one third of all Grand Finals played.

Anything less than a top 4 finish is a below par result for that Powerhouse of a Football Club.

Meanwhile, Carlton supporters are doing cartwheels after a 3 year Dynasty of contending for the Top 8, and still being a fighting chance of sneaking into 8th going into the final round of the season.

Looking forward to the DVD Box Set.

Yet you still have no more premiership wins than us!

Keep adjusting that level of closure to suit your agenda fudgey.

This thread is a stalemate.

Carlton will finish slightly higher on the ladder.
Pies beat Carlton twice in a season.
Pies probably finish above Carlton if they'd been given Carlton's intended walkover draw.

Both teams are spuds. Carlton is funnier to laugh at because their supporters were given so much hope and were up and about a few weeks ago when they were sitting 2nd.

You've gotta let the Blues supporters have their little victories. Its all they've got, don't take that away from them.

Why would I?

We all know that percentage is the differentiator to determine which team finishes HIGHER on the ladder in the event of two teams having the same amount of premiership points.

But it does not necessarily mean the team with the higher percentage is the BETTER team - i.e. the premise of this thread. For that, reasonable analysis needs to be performed.

It's like saying a horse that wins a handicap race carrying 54 kg with a dream run on the rails is the BETTER horse, compared to the horse that finished second by half a length but carried 59 kg and was 3 wide all race.
The Confabacus in action. A truly amazing thing. Nobody knows how it works, but we all know that it doesn't.

Brisbane and Collingwood supporters have a very healthy respect for one another. That's what comes from playing in many big games in recent times (including 13.6% of the last 22 Grand Finals).

Lets stop at 22 shall we that suits your agenda! Why not go to 50 or more? Lions are a manufactured AFL pipe dream to delve into NRL territory and nobody gives 2 shits about em. They are a nothing franchise but a stain in the jocks of the AFL head honchos.

Ordinary Carlton fans wouldn't understand this concept, let alone the ones on the far left side of the distribution curve. They're perpetually seated at the children's table with their crayons, writing out bland responses while internally combusting.

You just pretty much summed up your own comments in the Eagles game day thread today! 😂👌

2 Coleman Medalists, 1 Brownlow Medalist, multiple top 10 picks and still spuds. No wonder they're seriously considering trading Harry McKay to rebalance the list.

If we had played North and Richmond twice instead of once, we could be 2 games ahead of the Blues. They basically were given 2 extra wins, not to mention %.
Even the Essendon Edgers would be 2pts clear of Blueshakes right now with their draw. That would make Ben Mckay the Goat Mckay too btw.

And three packs of Krispy Kreme doughnuts for you?

See its that easy ladies and gentleman. Make sure you don't eat the crayons, they might get stuck.
