because it is identical to ours except substituting Adelaide for port (yes ADelaide easier than port but anticipated adelaide would challenge for the 8 and port were unclear on progression). And we were bottom 3.

So it's not bottom 6 - it's just Hawthorn based off how the season panned out had a harder draw then they should have based on 2023 ladder position.

The fixture is based on the 2023 ladder positions - the AFL can't predict the future and tell who will rise and who will fall.
