Really lame to bring up umpiring in this thread. We literally lost 2 games (Freo and Swans) to atrocious umpiring decisions. All teams get them both ways.

Well you'd hope so after building for more than two decades and not having contended for a premiership in all that time.

There really is only one way to go, though you must be concerned that they may have peaked at a 5th placed finish in 2023...

There's always a concern, it's Carlton. But nothing about our list profile suggests we've peaked. All our best players are in their prime and Cripps doesn't seem to be slowing down. Plenty of work to do on the mental side of things though.

It happens every year - clubs land in a ladder position based on other results. By your logic, everyone Bradbury's their final spot. The thing is, the final ladder position is judged on the results for the entire season, not just the final round.
