Hawks depth is lacking and untested, also KPF stocks are sub par until Dear's body matures.

Geelong's midfield without Oliver still weak + an extra year in the legs of Stanley, Danger, Blicavs, Duncan who are pretty close to cooked as is.
Our best 22 will look something like:
FB: Hardwick - Barass - Sicily
HB: Impey - Scrimshaw - Amon
C: Weddle - Nash - Massimo
HF: Moore - Lewis - Ginnivan
FF: Watson - Dear - Chol
R: Meek - Day - Newcombe
IC: Battle - Mackenzie - Worpel - MacDonald
EG: Jiath, Ward, Maginess, Serong, Mitchell, Morrison, Reeves.

Our depth is actually becoming a strength for us. Sicily, Dear and Chol will play forward for chunks of games until Lewis returns. We have enough firepower to dismantle opposition defence in sheer pace, like we did to yours.

Geelong already have the bones of their next midfield. Holmes, Smith and Bruhn as the front liners with support from Bowes, Stewart and Dempsey. It's a fallacy that their midfield is suddenly going to fall off a cliff. Scott won't let that happen.

Yeah our depth is bad that's why teams are trying to prise a few of them out from the club ( Finn McGuiness, Harry Morrison etc) who both played finals yet a full strength team they won't be there playing. Dear was supposed to be depth this year how did that turn out?. Depth is not the issue it's the ability of our good players being able to become elite for us to be contenders. That and for Lewis to get a good run at it.

Depth includes beyond the best 22. In 2024 the Hawks 2nd stringers weren't really tested as they had a fairly favourable run with injuries.

Pretty cooked. I had Brisbane clear until Daniher retired. These might be the two teams to beat

Mitch Lewis will be a handy inclusion. He is not your typical KPF. He's a big bustling power forward who completely alters the dynamics of their forwrad line.
It means Dear can continue to progress as he did and they have the luxury of leaving Sicily forward given the defenders who are about to come in.

Love how you keep banging on about the Cats, must have stung to see them go a bit further than your mob. Remember when you were gloating about how good the Baggers were in July
