Kicking is the hardest thing to improve. Once the die is set, it's a lot harder to change your action and break old habits. Bad kicking for goal in the last quarter was one reason we were knocked out of the finals.

Lucky Reid's action is technically sound as witnessed by his field kicking, it's just a matter of nerves effecting it at the moment.

Although I agree a poor kicking action can be hard to correct.

Reid does not kick through the ball properly which causes him a few problems. Kicks the ball a bit too flat as a result. Also needs to work out a consistent run up / routine.

This has already improved markedly in the 2nd half of the year. Will continue improvement.

Will be one of the best CHFs in the game I reckon.

The other thing is, Reid was far from the worst offender for us in terms of conversion this year. Some of that can be placed on the unusual number of games we played in wet weather, but also we just had trouble up forward all year.
