Out of contract at the end of this year. Theory is if the Hawks win the flag he could seek a new challenge.

Would love to see Clarkson coach. He would be our Ross Lyon and take us to a flag in 2 seasons. But sadly, West Coasts history in these type of matters rarely produces any impressive acquisitions.

Clarkson would be an excellent coach for us, Adam Simpson would be perfect as well.

Clarkson is only listed as the media made a passing that WCE were going to target him and i think they should. People say Clarkson has underachieved but he is about to enter his 3rd GF and could win it and has also made the finals quite a lot.

It would be a shame to lose Burns, very well respected by the players. But I agree with this post, I can't see him hanging around with a new (probably untried) coach appointed over the top of him.
Having said that I think Sumich's stocks went up on the weekend with the dominating performance from the shockers. I noticed I was more open to having Sumich return after watching how clinically they executed the game plan.
Seeing a team playing with a ditinct and effective gameplan was like seeing an ex girlfriend who has become a lot hotter since you broke up. You recognise it and it looks amazing but you are not sure its actually that attractive or you've just been without one for so long.
Really big changes needed. With our cash and the Perth climate, I’d be chasing:
Kevin Sheedy – Director of Football with specific responsibility for young player development.
Michael Voss – Head Coach
Brett Kirk – Stoppages / Having a Crack
Dean Laidley – Defence / Having a Crack
Brett Ratten – Mids / Having a Crack

Choco (Williams, not Royal) – Doing his 'nana at quarter time & 3 quarter time huddles / Having a crack

Jade Rawlings was sacked from Melbourne, Neil Craig has just come from being involved a middling organisation - DO NOT WANT.
The others are all good names to at least consider, though I always am unsure about Laidley and Ratten. However, both have shown some competency throughout their tenures.
