no but you clearly do not have anything to do with west coast. if you did, we would'nt have built such a great team and won a premiership.

people like you, who make rash decisions based on whats currently happening would have no place at a football club.

Should we make decisions based on last year then? We built a team out of two people. Threw all our eggs in the one basket. Now look at us chap. We're a flipping basket case of broken unwanted eggs. The eggs are rotting on the floor and everyone wants to see the eggs rot.

Why not play the Rosa's, Spangher's, McKinley's and co, and trade off the unwanted baggage that would prevent such intentions from becoming actions. Get them while their hot my old grandpapa would once say. I say get rid of the Embley's and Fletcher's while we have a chance, based on current and recent form. I guess I must be crazy for going on the current situation. We should bring back Sampi who is currently a million pounds, and bring back Cousins who has issues with drugs. Heck buddy, we could look at bringing back John Todd as coach. Doesn't matter if he's in a nursing home.

Don't you worry lad. I've been there, done that. I know more than anyone, larrikin included.

I'm sure you now agree with my stance. Apologies may be directed to me in this thread. Thank you and have a spiffing evening.

Those players all played this weekend.

What about the bit 'and co'. Conveniently missed that little bit did you? We have plenty of young players that could be playing. Just because I named some of those that happened to play, doesn't mean that those who didn't get a game wouldn't be capable.

Ebert, Notte, Butler, Jones, MacKenzie, McNamara, Selwood etc... There are many more. Are you happy now?

That's 7 names. Butler is injured, and Jones is in the side, so that leaves 5.

Who should Ebert, Notte, Mackenzie, Macnamara and Scott Selwood replace in the current side?

I'm particularly keen to see your case for Mackenzie and Notte to be included, they are definitely ready for senior football in their designated positions.....

i wholeheartedly disagree.

and no, you do not know more than anyone. judging by your comments it's easy to tell.

if we sacked all those experienced players who would our young players model themselves on? how demoralising would it be for them to have to develop quickly in a team losing week in week out with no senior players to rely on for stability.

whilst i see everyone is high on youth, you do need the correct mix for a team to actually develop. sacking players who are proven but are currently in bad form (in round 6) would just be daft.

at the moment we've got a fairly young team on the park with players like spangh, mckinley, masten, ebert, selwood, schoey and jmac etc all pushing for selection. is that not enough young for you? why completely ruin what the team is trying to achieve just so we can 'play the kids'.

McKenzie's injured as well.

Selwood, Ebert and McNamara, along with Masten, have been rotated in and out of the side. There's no point getting 18 year olds to play 22 games. Nor is there any point playing a dozen teenagers and getting pumped. The match committee is doing the sensible thing in my opinion.

if rosa was traded which i doubt because hes a hard worker and we reward those types of players i'd think we'd want an early 2nd round.

under-rated player on here. its only his 4th season and hes going alright. he's got heaps more improvement in him as well.

I agree very good player. would love to see him in the black and white :thumbsu:

To Answer the Question

Retirements: Braun (30)and Wirrapanda (29)

Trade Bait: Fletcher, Embley, Nicoski, Rosa, Houlihan, Staker.

Delist if not traded: Houlihan, Graham, Wilkes, Mackenzie, Fletcher, Nicoski.

Elevated: C. Willson, A. Arrowsmith, W. Sullivan.

Rookies kept: R. Davis, L. Stevenson

The way we are going we will have pick 3 in the draft if our form does not improve.

Melb-1 (priority)
melb-2
WCE-3

WTF?

So we're going to get rid of a hard running wingman, who's improving all the time, the best KP defender in the WAFL and our second pick in the 2006 draft so we can promote 3 players who haven't shown anywhere near as much?

____ing insanity...

Well you did a pretty bang-up job of making a tool of yourself. I would've thought if you wanted to talk about an alternative group to the group that actually played you would've taken the time to include at least one player in your original list who hadn't played the week before.

But hey, maybe that's just me.

braun is at an interesting time of his career, either he reinvents himself to play another role for the team,or his career may be over

Keep your character assassinations to yourself. I don't appreciate personal insults when all I am doing is conveying my opinion in a respectful manner. Please show others the respect and courtesy that they show you.

I've included a bunch of names just for you, so now please comment on the topic of my post if you are capable.

Scotland and I both commented on your post. Are you happy to address those instead or are you holding out for a private battle with larrikin?

Actually, I was working my way back through the thread, but went away from the computer for a moment. You seem very anxious for a reply, particularly considering you were quoting Scotland's post and not mine, but not to worry, I shall reply and satisfy your thirst.

We're talking about next year, not this year. Get them ready for next year by giving them senior WAFL football and some AFL games in the meantime.

As I mentioned above, the thread relates to next year. 'NEXT YEAR'. Please read the thread title correctly chap. As for your insinuation that I am looking for a personal battle with larrikin, I was only replying to a personal insult that I did not appreciate. It clearly is not 'me' starting a battle with 'him'. If you look at other threads that I have posted on, you will find that after almost all of my posts larrikin pops up with a comment aimed at my character, rather than my post or the topic. What you are seeing is me at my wits end. I'm sick of the guy following me around. Starting to make me wonder about people who supposedly support my beloved team.

Anyways, to put this back on track, please reply to the topic if you have anything worth while to say, as it appears that you too are looking for a personal battle. At 60+ years of age I do not have the time left in my life to waste on such discussions.
