its a bit unfair on the players who will be delisted to make it official so late? Surely they deserve a chance if other clubs are interested?

I think those that know they are gone already have zero chance of being taken by another club and their managers have probably been working for some time to try and find them a new home somewhere. I think most players would prefer to be given every opportunity to remain on the list rather than make the call early.

I don't hate the bloke I just believe he is over rated.

Dont forget Black and Brown are both having pretty serious operations this off season with Brown playing with a pretty bad knee this year and Black with one shoulder. Tarrant hasnt kicked a footy in anger in a LONG time. The Club have to cover for those guys with someone of quality in case their injuries dont come good right away.
