This is my opinion so some teams would probably dissagree with my top 6's so please change them is its nessacery:

Adelaide:Mcleod, goodwin, Edwards, Roo, Thompson, Rutten

Brisbane:Brown, Black, Lappin, Power, Adcock, Charman

Carlton:Fevola, Waite, Stevens, Fisher, Simpson, Murphy

Collingwood: Cloke, Fraser, Clement, Shaw, Pendelbury, Rocca

Essendon: Lloyd, Hird, Lucus, Fletcher, Stanton, Watson

Fremantle: Pavlich, J.Carr, Haselby, Sandilands, Johnson, Bell

Geelong: Ablett, Bartel, Scarlett, Milburn, Ling, Mooney

Hawthorn: Franklin, Mitchell, Hodge, Crawford, Croad, Brown

Kangaroos: Harvey, Wells, Thompson, Grant, Petrie, Harris

Melbourne: Bruce, Green, White, Neitz, Rivers, Mclean

Port Adelaide: Cornes x2, Burgoyne x2, Lade, Pearce

Richmond: Foley, Richardson, Bowden, Brown, Deledio, Simmonds

St Kilda: Dal Santo, Montagna, Rievoldt, kosi, Mcguire, Hayes/Ball

Sydney: Kirk, O'Keefe, Everitt, Hall, Goodes, Kennelly

West Coast: Kerr, Judd, Cousins, Cox, Glass, Embley

Western Bulldogs: Johnson, west, Gilbee, Cooney, Akermanis, Cross

I've obviously probably left some out but looking at that i'd say west coast & st kilda has the best top 6 going around, carltons top 6 is very ordinary & essendons is very old, Collingwoods isn't the best but hard to pick because there so even & Hawthorns is probably the youngest.

I think West Coast, Geelong and Adeliade are all pretty damn good.
Also for Sydney I'd probably have C. Bolton instead of Everitt but thats just my opinion.
Otherwise well done.

I was toying with bolton but yea couldn't quite fit him in & its hard when you dont watch every team every week.

If you're looking at Best 6, I'd have Didak in for the Pies over Rocca.

But if by "Best" you mean most important then Rocca is in for sure.

Yea its hard to define best because your best 6 ain't nessacerily your most important 6 like i think if collingwood lost fraser they'd be in alot of trouble yet his not your best player.

A couple of other changes on having a 2nd look.
Maybe Ottens/Chapman in for Enright at Geelong.
And I would have thought Johncock could get into the top 6 at Adelaide, probably for Thompson?

Kangaroos: Harvey, Wells, Thompson, Grant, Petrie, Harris

.

Wells has missed about 6 games this year. Thommo hasn't played. Harris has been struggling with OP.

Best thing about our list, is that it's very even.

And FWIW...on form this year, according to North supporters, here's our top 6 in 2007.

Leader Board After Round 16

60.5 - Harvey
33 - McIntosh & Petrie
24 - Firrito & Simpson
20 - Grant

18 - Swallow
15 - Wells, Sinclair & Jones

Jesse Smith will be in our top 3 next year. That's more certain than death & taxes.

I'd have Burton in Adelaide's best 6 instead of Thompson. But from the lists you've provided I'd agree that West Coast and St Kilda have the best 6.

It would be interesting to add up the total games this year for the best 6 from each team and rank them to see if this resembles the premiership ladder at all.

I might be biased but West coast's top 6 look clearly the best, head to head I can;t see any other 6 beating them.

West Coast: Kerr, Judd, Cousins, Cox, Glass, Embley

Port Adelaide: C. Cornes, S. Burgoyne, W. Tredrea, B. Lade, D. Pearce

C. Cornes = C. Judd......No i'm not saying they're equal, but I think Cornes' versatility makes up for the difference.

S. Burgoyne = D. Kerr

B. Lade = D. Cox

W. Tredrea > D. Glass

B. Cousins > P. Burgoyne

A. Embley > D. Pearce

So WCE win that one, but it's pretty close.

Geelong then WC for mine.

Ablett > Judd
Bartel > Kerr
Chapman > Cousins
Scarlett = Glass
Mooney > Embley
Ottens < Cox

You can only base it on this year, on that basis I think that is accurate.

Past = WC
Future = Who no's?

Hawks only midrange now but I wouldn't swap tham for any of the others !
