Looks like we’re going to have back to back premiership hangovers.

Geelong couldn’t back it up because of their over reliance on their a-team (ie. J. Cameron). Collingwood, despite being overly reliant on Daicos, seem to have been back to where we all thought they really were in 2023. Which begs the question, whose premiership defence has been more disappointing? As always, I know this is the place to turn for a balanced and reasoned discussion.

Geelong had their captain retire so have a fair excuse.

Collingwood on the other hand made plays such as trading pick 7 for a ready made 26yo so they were going all in on a another flag.

Collingwoods is far worse.
A fair and well thought through comment.

Richmond 2021

As for geeLOL vs Pies, we’ve already picked up more premiership points than they did last year and still two games to go 🤷‍♂️

That’s 4 hangovers in a row

Then of course you’re got Carltank’s 30 year hangover…

WOBBLEwood will be stoked that they get to draw comparisons with the Greatest Club of the 21st Century. We had the oldest list in history, the oldest selected team ever, the oldest team to ever win a premiership, and the Greatest Captain of All Time Joel Selwood retire.

WOBBLEwood? They're just shithouse!

Yup - Tigers had one in 2021 but let’s face it, after 3 flags in 4 years we were stonkered for months after 2020

In fact might still be recovering 😬
