Why no new contract for Daniel Chick?

You lost me as soon as you used the word "LAZY" in relation to Daniel Chick!

So Chick hasn't made lazy, boneheaded plays that have cost us goals this year?

I speak inparticular of the times when he's taken the ball in the back pocket and chipped it across the face on the back foot straight down an opponents throat. Also a number of ugly handballs under little pressure that I can recall.

Just because he has a "tough guy" image, doesn't mean that he isn't struck with bouts of laziness. His disposal this year has been very, very ordinary at times...'lazy' is just one word to describe it, and probably the most polite.
