Why the fixation on trading for a power forward

No worries mjp...but Ive just looked it up, Pask has played 11 snr VFL games this year and was suspended last week for striking N.Sautner. Been named in the best 5 of those games. There has also been 2 byes so, all have been in the 1's. Id say playing down back is new to him as well, so in a new position thats pleasing, as are the many positive comments I have read from other BF posters about him.

But of course your are entitled to your views...though above are facts supplied by VFL website.

Really? Interesting stats guse. LOOK AGAIN! Go to the VFL Website. Pick the VFL RESERVES competition. Look down the list of players.

Marty played 2's a couple of weeks back. Honestly - what would I possibly gain by making this up?

As for the many positive comments by other BF posters, great. I hope he succeeds - it would help the club. I dont think he will as his leg-speed is poor. Not that I want to question my fellow Bulldog supporters/posters, but I wonder how many of those posting positive words are doing so based on what they have seen or what they have read or what they are hoping for?

If you want a realistic appraisal, go to the Werribee News section of the Bulldogs website - Simon Atkins does a write-up on every player (or Steve Kretiuk for the 2's players :)) - have a look there...here is the link:

If eade wanted to move harris forward in any serious way, youd want him to do a full preseason there. its too late in the season now to stuff the team around. We should be trying to settle players into positions for the run into the finals.

If everitt and williams can continue the form they showed against eh cats, they will play out the year.

everitt could be a keypo, why not? just because he can run doesnt mean he cant spoil.

Pask played for Werribee reserves v Williamstown in round 11 following a disgraceful performance the week before v Port. He failed to get named in the best in that game but was brought back into the seniors the following week anyway. I actually watched the last half of that game and thought he was only so-so.

He has played 11 games for Werribee seniors and been named in the best 4 times - twice as first best. He has kicked 5 goals including 3 in round 1.

Gehrig is another to move from FB to FF - not a bad move their either.

Problem is, Harris is still our backline general - other talls are inexperienced.

Hargave forward is one I like, but we need his run out of the backline to help cover the loss of Gilbee.
