Now we have those same people saying 'play the kids' next week.

We have found a player here.

He looked a player when he came on as sub against Freo and today he has proven he is not fazed at the level.

He should keep his spot in the side at half back.

He just has to be better than Markov to hold his spot. He seams to be improving each time he plays.

He looks like a good player. Didn’t get much of it, but was very clean when he got it. Give him a full Pre Season and he should be pushing for a permanent spot next year.

He does look very composed - and for a guy with so little footbal under his belt has plenty of upside.

Quite impressed by Will. Excellent tackler. The one minor query is given his size he will need to play on the quick small forwards, and does he have the pace to do so ?
But you are excited by the upside once he actually gets a pre season in him. Maybe he could eventually play the role Josh Daicos

Looked OK but desperately needs another preseason. Didn't look like an afl.player. (As in he looked like a cricketer. An athlete who.hasnt trained specifically for footy).
Did some nice things thou so could be one for the future.

Yeah, can't ask too much more of him tbh. Came into the system in feb, no pre-season. No preseason games, some conditioning and training, straight into vfl, then debut two games, injured for 4 weeks, vfl for one game and then a full game at afl level

Anything he did this year was gonna be a bonus. Don't think anyone had him pegged to play senior games this quick anyway. He's gonna be a player.

Definitely going to be a player. Big Roo Smit also looks a good long term player. And we’re going to need some success stories with our category B, SSP and MSD and father-son recruits given our lack of draft picks

Hopefully he becomes a top shelf endurance runner as wing or defensive half play maker looks his role, as he looks a bit slow to play as a genuine defender.
