on topic, it's April. Still a young team that will be plagued with growing pains, I'd take 10ish wins and competitiveness on a weekly basis which seems realistic at this stage. We've dropped off massively in the second half of the year over the last 3 seasons which is why we can't read too much into early season form. Check back in when we're at round 15 or so.

Probably not. We’re already one of the youngest and least experienced by games played. When injuries inevitably come we’ll be even younger.

And young blokes get tired as the season wears on. I’d love to make finals, but realistically I’ll be happy with anything more than 9 wins.

They seem to have played some of the best and worst footy of anyone this year. As they go on and start getting a bit more consistency, with home ground advantage that should translate to more wins than losses and a healthy percentage. Should put them somewhere 5th-10th imo. Probably the same as Port. Might need to win a derby to get in, maybe not depending on how it shakes out.

Considering how patchy most teams' form has been so far I couldn't rule Freo out. I reckon they're at least a 50/50 chance. A good amount of winnable home games on the schedule.

The op's question is actually a good one, and takes a bit of thought.

I think if we do make it, it'll be by the skin of our teeth. But they have the rest of the season to prove me wrong. I am a pessimistic sort.
I tend to agree with the comments on the amount of youth in the side and possible wear and tear over the season.

Short answer, I dunno.
