While I won't be rooting for freo I will be hoping they get up and win as well as hoping that Geelong beat the blues and the lions bounce back against the bombers.

St. Kilda, no doubt have a quality top tier of players. The biggest issue I have with their side is it's bottom 6 players.

i.e. Gwitt, McQualter, Eddy, Geary, McEvoy, Jason Blake, etc. I think this will be exposed on Saturday.

I think people have got used to the Hawks having so many players out that they are only seeing the Saints outs.


Hows the Hawks bottom 6 stack up v the saints bottom 6?

Sheils, Tuck, Shoenmakers, Kennedy, Whitecross and Murphy (throw in Taylor/Renouf)

Think the Saints still have them covered. Especially in form and confidence.

Ha macqualter?? he is like top 100 player easily one of the best alf forwards going round. He has been great averages 1-2 goals a game in 2009 and many assists. This is the problem people comment on players they have never seen. macqualter is easily top 15 in Stkilda now. great little player.

I think saints can still win we will prove our depth is awesome. Our backline is still settled.

Gardiner will play forward, still have king and mcevoy rucking and they will win.

Our midfield is the biggest worry.

The young blokes we brought in will be desperate to earn a spot for finals while we still have the defense to cover hawthorn's attack and gardi (4 goals vs geelong) and kosi will wreak havok on the inexperienced hawthorn defense.

The most unbelievable stroke of fortune the Bradbury's could hope for.

Softened up something fierce last week with a very physical game, and now effectively resting what could form the backbone of an entire team.

At a difficult time and under the pump, the footy gods have handed every possible opportunity to them...they better not lose this one.

Virtually a mirror of the Geelong restings after a tough match against the aints... and they lost large the following week.

Cannot believe that Hawk fans are pulling out this rubbish about "7 premiership players missing". It's all about the quality of players missing - the saints have probably their top 4 gone - Riewoldt, Hayes, Montagna, Goddard and a couple of very very good players in Baker and Gilbert as well. It would be the equivalent of the Hawks missing Franklin, Mitchell, Sewell and Hodge plus a couple of others that are already out.

Saints will be flogged and it will mean absolutely nothing.
