Now that the world cup is over, will you still follow rugby and watch the Wallabies in Test ect.
I will.
I've become a fan. I went from knowing nothing about Rugby to wanting to watch their games.

I follow rugby pretty closely anyway. Despite being from WA, I'm the "turncoat" in my family with my father being a rugby player for 30-odd years.
In my primary school days in the 70s, I used to have to get family friends to take me to the footy at Fremantle Oval to watch the South Freo Bulldogs in action, while the rest of the family went off to the rugby to watch my dad play.
Have a love of the game (I also understand the rules!!), but still daylight between watching my first love in sport (AFL of course!), to my second - REAL rugby (that would be union!).
I find rugby league a bit of a bore... way too much stop-start, and soccer is a complete snorefest as far as I am concerned.

I'll watch it a fair bit.

The people who run Super12 need to make a decision soon on a new Super12 team..does it go to Melbourne or Perth - 2 cities who have gotten behind rugby in a huge way in recent years.

The profits the ARU have clearly made need to spent wisely in terms of the game's future development.

Depends on what is on the night of the games, during the World Cup there was nothing worth watching on T.V down here.

I've always taken an interest in any sport that is representing my country. Rugby Union is no different. I like the game, and as the tournament wore on, I even started to understand the rules a bit. Would I hand over some hard earned to go and watch them in a test match in Melbourne? If the price is right, but I wasn't willing to fork out a couple of hundred for a ticket.

I would if all games were like:

a) England vs. Wales (RWC 03)
b) Australia vs. England (RWC 03)

Unfortunately there werent many more matches like that, and they dont come around often...or often enough.

Ill stick with footy, the REAL sport. :D

I watched about 10 minues of the final (the first time I've ever watched any rugby game) was bored literally almost to tears and turned the TV off. I'd rather watch endless repeats of Australian Idol while listening to a CD entitled "Fingernails Scaratching Against a Blackboard".

No way now the event has passed so we can get back to some REAL football, no more pommie sniffing bums game for me.
As sidelight how about our Silly little PMs sour performance in givng the WINNERS their medals I ask why was he there in the first place isnt it a job for the GG?

lol riccardo.
I watched it and enjoyed it apart from losing. But its just a good spectacle thats all. If it were planned better, maybe like the ashes and have a best of 5 series around Australia, it might get more interest. But it aint going to happen anytime soon. The way its setup now, I'll hardly follow it.

Despite Foxtel flooding the airwaves with rugby, I never watched a minute of it, no desire to see that game, I don't like it, never have, never will.

If there's nothing better on TV and the Wallabies are playing i'd probably watch it (assuming it's a competitive game against a decent side), but i've always been like that with a lot of sports. I wouldn't say my interest has increased at all.

IMO, the only reason the final was entertaining was that it was close. There was not much free running play, loads of stoppages, heaps of referee decisions no-one seemed to understand and an endless supply of penalty goal attempts which make Matthew Lloyd look like he's rushing it.

Apart from the final .Most games didn't excite me that much .In fact I think I might switch RL as number two game instead of RU .
Even though the final was a close arm wrestle a close game of AR is much more exciting .
Anybody confirm that Johnny has been invited by Eddie to play for Collingwood ?
