Arm clearly deflected off the shoulder.
As I said, don't expect fair.
Give our players some basic karate training and teach them hold to break a hold ffs.
Get your arm inside and under and bring it up, so the opponent slaps you in the face instead and they (lol yeh right) get the 2 game suspension.
A month of Karate in the offseason twice a week would work wonders.
Stop falling for this dumb shit and learn to break a hold (and he was already being held by the jumper and should have had the free).
Don't expect fair, get even.

Confession time: Saturday afternoon I bought a month of Kayo.
Why: I knew the weather was shit and with games not being on 7plus yet I knew I would be spending an evening watching pixels.
Stay with me here please.
So this morning I watched the Kayo mini of the game.
Watched the incident again.
I then went to the time in the game where it occurred and watched that 5-10 minutes under sufference.
Why under sufference?
Because Saturday night I listened to WGT and Timmy on 5AA with the Kayo sound off.
Again stick with me.
Ok so again I watched those 5-10 minutes.
At the time during the game I didn't know what the broadcasters did.
The broadcast made it clear that the incident happened just before Finlayson missed a shot at goal.
Why did I even notice this, because I saw Murphy flailing around and assumed he did it multiple times.
But no, that is when the incident happened.
And there was basically no discussion of it.
THEN 5 minutes later, when there was a break in play around the time that Rioli kicked his goal, then they showed the incident and the commentary gave the impression that it had just happened. And then they showed the incident again, with the commentary "Oh that will be looked at by the MRP".
This is what I allege happened.
McGuire saw the incident on his 8k TV in Toorak.
McGuire messaged his MMM buddy in Luke Darcy and said "You bloody well say this", and make sure the incident is shown again at the next possible break.
Darcy said "Yes sir".
Pitchforks were raised, Christian was told what to do, wheels were in motion.
How many other incidents in the game were as bad or worse and could have had the same treatment.
Plenty.
Why was this one highlighted.
Because they were told to.
Will Koch or Kenny do anything, of course not.
Conclusion: Don't expect fair, you are a fool if you do.
Expect to win despite the way things are structured.
Rioli will get two weeks, because that is what the people in control want.
100% trial by media.
How do you fight that?
Be significantly better than them.
Take them out of the equation.
