I have an active distain for the way Michael Christian goes about his job. He is capricious in his exercise of power. His decisions are too infrequently challenged for anything to change.

They are frequently challenged, but still too infrequently, especially by our club - good to see this has changed on this occasion.

Difference being Ollie Lord didn't do a Greg Louganis.

I don't think there's any avoiding a suspension for Willie (for stupidity alone), but our rep should just present this Corr/Lord decision and rest their case, with particular emphasis on the MRO's impact grading. Michael Christian needs a good shaming.

There have been a lot of Collingwood fans whose reply on social media to the clubs posts calling out the racial vilification has been "Racism is bad but did you see what he did...".

Agreed. There were no broken bones, dislocations or damages in this highly delicate area, where even a slight impact can cause damage. Player did not even leave the field or assessed by medical staff.

Therefore, the severity of the impact to this highly delicate area makes sense for this incident to be downgraded to low impact.

I lived in Collingwood as a Port fan. Ive been to Port Collingwood finals in both states. Been to countless games as a neutral at the G.
