I think Djokovic would have struggled to make the final if Sinner or Medvedev were on his side of the draw. Just got really lucky to not have any of the current top players on his side.

Main issue is with his knee strapped due to surgery he just cant cover ground like he used to and hes slower as well

It’s just a downside to a very easy draw. Kind of a double edged sword.
Once you play a top player and haven’t all tournament, you have to adapt to a level that you haven’t all tournament.
