That boundary by Beth Mooney down the ground , case in point. That was hit half heartedly and still got 4.Yikes at the boundary ropes being brought in at the Adelaide Oval! Looks like about a 70% hit compared to the mens for a boundary tonight. Although the square boundaries look about the same for a mens match. Cant see a low scoring game here.

Batters, they’re women not menIt was interesting watching our two batsmen during that boundary & their running between wickets
I know Voll had to delay her first run a bit to ensure the ball got past the stumps, but by the time Voll was preparing to tap her bat for the second run, Mooney was 2/3rds down the wicket on a third
We've spoken about potential fitness issues within the English camp, but Voll looks like she may have something to work on to have a sustained career at the top level
Sorry
Batters just sounds weird description as it makes me think of something to dip fish in before deep frying
Just being pedantic it’s taken me a long time to wrap my head around the word batters. It’s not like we call the bowlsmen and bowlswomenSorry

Gottem. As soon as these aussies get into a position like this, they should be thinking 3 boundaries an over with how deep they bat.
Watching that repay it seemed Dean was in two minds between going the catch and trying to stop the boundary - in the end she did neither
