The same Stevie J who won the Norm Smith in '07 and kicked 4 goals on one leg in '11? Yeah, definitely the worst premiership player running around.

As for Cyril, what has he done since '08? Sweet FA, that's what.

Yep, the very self same front running showboating soft as butter one.

Although I will concede he probably ain't the worst going around.... I was merely responding to a ridiculous suggestion by one of your esteemed scat brethren with a clearly less ridiculous one. It has to be a tie between Mooney and Renouf.

Going back to 2002, Beau McDonald and aaron Shattock donutted for Brisbane ( I don't remember if they were injured) but it makes the 2002 GF all the more mirthful if Brisbane had 20 blokes who got possessions but still beat Collingwood ( mind you collingwood had both nick and Leon Davis, Steinfort and Jarrod Molloy who between them got 8 possessions).
Beau McDonald was off the field and transported to hospital after he did his shoulder in the first couple of minutes... That's what makes 2002 so awesome to watch. Beating those Collingwood dickheads with a 3 man bench and 1 ruckman :thumbsu:

and If the sub rule was introduced in 2002, lions would of still won the grand final anyway.

Cameron Mooney, worst premiership winner and AA of all time. Provided many laughs but, such a woeful set shot
Please provide facts on why this is the case.o_O

The only player Freo fans could really relate to in this thread is Des Headland*, who ironically only really had one good year.

* such a shame for them that when he won his medal, he was playing for my club and not theirs. Lol :p

Here's one thread Saint and Bulldogs posters can rest up and grab some popcorn.

I disagree. We are best positioned to nominate the duds with a good deal of detachment and objectivity.

For instance, we are better positioned to notice that North had plenty of passengers in both 1996 and 1999.

Shannon Byrnes? Matthew Stokes? OP clearly doesn't watch much footy, mod lock topic plz.

Bit harsh on Byrnes. While I think he's a very limited footballer, he was crucial in the last quarter against St Kilda in '09. He along with Varcoe and Ablett were the only ones with any pace left in their legs.

Stokes and Blake may be fair calls if you're naming Geelong players, I'd probably throw Wojcinski in the mix too.
