You're not the only one.

I've just written the following on Team Thursday (and it did make it past the censors - surprisingly):
Just out of interest.. who is on the selection committee, besides Neil Craig? In other words, who is first to face the firing squad when the end of year clean out occurs?
EDIT: The answer was the assistant coaches.

At least we can look forward to a complete clean out at the end of the year then. <fingers crossed>

Definitely the round 11 team with Sellar, Moran, Symes, Schmidt and Maric. Wow even though they all didn't play, thats just a horrible list of players.

You amaze me, you have been bleating on that its never been list managment, yet now (it must have smacked you in the face somewhere) you are tearing the shreads the players that represent the AFC, isnt that list management????

Cannot believe the selections this week. What on earth has Henderson done to earn a recall, he needed a good 3-4 weeks of SANFL, not 1. What more does Aiden Riley have to do? We'd clearly prefer to keep persisting with the likes of Symes and Schmidt, who we keep dropping one week and selecting the next, its like trench warfare in WWI, we think if we keep doing the same thing enough times, it might eventually work:eek::confused: FFS Craigy, try something NEW, give blokes like Riley and Talia a chance, f*** playing Brodie Smith in the SANFL ressies, just bring him straight back in.

It's definately one of the most uninspiring. Maybe not the worst, but shit there's some cloggers in there.
Care to name a worse team the AFC has fielded in its 20.5 year history? Seriously, I'm open to suggestions. As far as I can recall, these are the two standouts for "worst team ever" status.

God, I actually don't know :(

The thing steering me away from that is the nice young talent we have, though there's just a on of clogger in there......hmmm, I'll get back to you!

The Brisbane team had Cook and Sellar, so you could probably claim QED on an argument right there.

The two teams had 17 common players

Bris added Cook, Sellar, Smith, Walker and Reilly.
Tonight we have Schmidt, Gunston, Symes, Vince, Otten

Bris WB
Tot Gm 229 204
2011 Gm 34 25
2011 disp 497 430
disp ave/gm 14.6 17.2
2011 goals 19 12
goal ave/gm 0.56 0.48
2011 tackles 101 60
tack ave/gm 3.0 2.4

On average, the WB team will win an extra 13 possessions, while the Bris team will kick 0.4 more goals, and lay 3 more tackles.

Walker skews the goal count considerably, and Reilly skews the possession and tackle count considerably. Certainly tonight's five have a much more even spread of talent. And yes, on the scale of
1. wannabe -> 2. hack -> 3. plodder -> 4. depth -> 5. fringe ->
6. regular 22 -> 7. quality -> 8. elite -> 9. star -> 10. superstar

I actually rate Schmidt as about 4.5.

So I vote the R9 team as worst ever.
