No, I wouldn't trade Judd for Cotchin. Judd is the best footballer in the AFL and one of the best to have played the game, ans is still 2-3 years from his best. Cotchin has been great so far, his dinky little kicks mostly hit targets, and this makes up for his lack of kicking distance and leg speed. His 2 fumbles on Saturday V Lions cost 2 goals, and that's something he needs to work on. He should be a good midfielder, but beyond that who knows. Cotchin is closer to a Palmer or Stanton talent wise but a lot better than Deledio.

O boy. Please watch Richmonds matches this year birdbrain, Deledio is a bonafide freak of nature. And Palmer aint fit to tie Cotchin bootlaces.

As for the OP, thank **** we didnt trade it.

And as stated by our board a number of times, if we had the #1 pick, Cotchin wouldve been our choice.

The only teams that would say yes are those that think they are within a premiership window: Hawthorn, Bulldogs, Collingwood definately.

North, Saints, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Essendon, Melbourne, Fremantle (All possible for various reasons)

If you gave up Cotchin for Judd, you would also be getting an experienced leader, a lot of revenue, and instant success. A lot of teams would look strongly at that, but a lot of teams hve seen what trading away a top pick for experince can lead to, so may be cautious.

because cotch is 7 yrs younger, and because judd is a groin injury away from retirment, and because of the cost of judd compared with cotch. judd will earn $i million more than cotch this season.

The Tiges list is still rubbish, but at least you've made an important positive step by booting Miller. That should be a cause for celebration and a massive list cleanout I would have thought. The Tiges are at last on a level playing field in terms of recruitment/drafting decisions.

He is being paid 1.2million
He is contracted for 6 years

Trading away a low second round pick last year for McMahon was probably the final straw. To make matters worse you could have got the guy for free in the PSD if you really wanted him. Being unprepared on draft day sealed his fate i.e. not knowing who to pick after Cotchin and needing to call an embarrassing timeout. I still remember that. It was just a disaster, I almost felt sorry for the guy.
