Watched the last 15 mins, Lavo pushed forward a couple of times but the Suns played the last 15 well.

Did Tarneit beat Braybrook? PlayHQ only said 'in progress'. Remarkable if they did win, been a terrible year for them beaten at home by the Rams last week.

Newport hit the front 25 minutes into the last, unbeaten Albion out of jail.

Rams get within 7 of the 6th placed Albanvale, Heights nearly roll North Footscray at Roberts Street.

Good to see some upsets and close games in what has been a lopsided season in D2.

6 of the 7 games had a cumulative margin of only 67 points.

Watched an improved Rams side at Merton Strret today. They kicked out to a 28 point lead in the 2nd quarter, they looked fitter than they were early in the season and were troubling Lavo with their ball movement and run.......then Lavo kicked 12 goals in a row inspired by their FF Sonny Rainbow who marked everything and kicked straight. Good enough to play at a higher level if he wanted to.

Lavo won easily in the end and are looking to win their last 3 games, all at home. A few scuffles and a bit of feeling given a half dozen Lavo players moved to the Rams a few years ago, nothing serious though. Hopefully both can kick on next season, Rams should be reasonably happy with their 1st season in the WFNL.

Who makes the finals? From memory it is a top 6 affair.

Top 5 seems set but it will be interesting if Suns lose the last round and Braybrook win their next two. Or if Suns win two close ones it may come down to percentage.

For umpires to call it off it must have been worse than a minor push and shove. Same sh&& again Im always bemused as to why the league put’s up with it. The league will never get good players in or respect if they tolerate this sh&& every 2-3 years.

go get the full story mate before jumping to conclusions... i was 10 meters away on the heights end and im telling ya notging in it. If u stop the game for push n shove no games will be finished
