Stoked for Heights. Been able to land a couple good players. Hopefully gives them a much needed boost.
You're not wrong when you say good players. Viola has been a gun in Div 1 for years and young AJ from Laverton is a really exciting prospect. Good moves by Heights.

Laverton seem to be pushing again with recruits. Losing AJ is a big loss however they’ve just posted that they’ve signed five lads from Altona. Don’t know much about them but a few have played some senior footy by the looks of it.
Don't think any are senior players, a couple of solid reserves & an U18 player in that group but not that long ago, players from D1 clubs wouldn't consider Lavo.

I’m hearing north sunshine have approached the league to just fill a 3rds side for next year

Is their new coach still there?

3rds Might be a circuit breaker for North, hard to attract players when you're getting smashed every week.

Let's them re-group, maybe win a few games and re-build......on ther other hand......

I’ve got a mate training there and believes they have got seniors next year.

From what I have seen in the last maybe 2-3 years they are really promoting themselves as a club to dip your feet into Senior footy. Dont mind that approach, hopefully they hold onto the young fellas for a few years at least.

That approach really suits where they are at at the moment. Very strategic, whereas in the past Lavo struck me as being permanently stuck in survival mode. You're right though, increasing their juniors and keeping their younger senior players is a must.

Trying to get an under 18 side up too from what I can see. This will give them under 9, 10, 12 and 18. Not bad when they had no juniors for at least 10-12 years.
