Hopefully the can honour the offers come mid/end of year. Hearing big money thrown around. Cassar wasn’t cheap and surely Mo Saad getting good $$ as he can play. Little bit quicker footy in the WRFL with more younger types.

Mo Saad coming off a team of the year season in EDF Div 1 which is on par with WRFL Div 1 if not below (according to people involved at St Albans who have experienced both)

Pat has plenty of cash after leaving East Keilor. I believe he is assisting his mate Ali with some sign ons.

What makes you think they won't honour the offers? Still digging your boots in at Newport. Get off it.

Now MoiMoi signed. That’s huge but his another on big coin. Actually will be highest paid at Newport but predominantly will play some VFL. Is he still up in Sydney?? Is Newport flying him down??

Given they will be in Division 1 and were not even Grand Finalists in Division 2 I would say at the very least the top 5 or 6 Clubs in Division 1

They are a competitive footy club and won't be disgraced but they were beaten comfortably in D2 Prelim, and have got some ground to make up.

Good on them, accepted the offer of D1 from the WFNL, could have declined and no one would have blamed them.

Hope they go well.

Thank all of you smartarses for your loving snipes. Being a Westie, I'm interested in the WRFL, although I'm now an Ammo follower.

I've played in the former Werribee DFL, WSFL, and the F'scray DFL.

I'm not aware of who 'Pat' is, so does that make me an easy target for riflemen, most of whom are probably boundary snipers.

How many of you have even played football?

Hiding behind your pseuds, list the clubs for which you’ve played and the one you are now associated with.

I won't hide. Played with the Willi CYs in three Western suburbs leagues, proud of it. Everybody at the CYs knows who I am. Drop down, watch a good game of football and I’ll buy you a beer, or two or three after the game.

Pat was the fella that was throwing money around at East Keilor, some on here developed quite the fixation on him.
It's understandable that you may not know him if you don't spend your time on the EDFL boards.
