If having 9(4.5) shots on goal and setting up a few is a shocker then i had a shocker. I moved into the middle after half time and got a fair bit of the ball(read brookers post), i did get caught twice for holding the ball as that can happen when you take the game on.

I will admit i had an average match but still contributed.

Time to move on now, i hope Braybrook can beat Laverton for us this week.

That wont happen this week Caino! Braybrook are playing Coburg and Laverton are playing Deer Park!

Having played both of Laverton and Braybrook in the last 2 weeks and knowing that you should have beaten both on paper, who do you think will win when they do front up against each other in 2 weeks?

All I can say its a shame that football games are not played on Paper!

Dont be bitter because your over the hill and can no longer play. I left on my own accord all clubs, if certain people like yourself did not like me you should of been man enough to talk to me about it and not take cheap shots on bif footy.

Yarra are far from conceding our season is over we have had two bad losses and are only one match out of the 5 and have 10 to play. Its not going to be easy but if we can get back to playing some clean direct football and can pick up our pressure and talking we will be in the mix for a finals spot.

Time to move on to the next weeks matches.

I am sticking my my comments. We lost Laverton by 22 points and played that bad we still only lost by 4 goals.

Braybrook we played 5 minutes in the 3rd quater and 5 in the last and only lost by 20 points. Yarra are yet to play a 4 quater match.

I belive we are a better side then Braybrook and Laverton period. But when you dont do the simple things well on the football field well like hit targets, chase, takle and talk you will losse more games than you win.

We are in a form slump, confidence is down but we get back on the horse work hard and rebound this week against the Vales. There is a fair bit of football to be played and we are still in the mix for a top 5 finish, tho the last two weeks make it alot harder than it should of been for the football club.

No cockyness what so ever, its self belive and confidence which all good teams and players posees. We have let ourselfves down the last two weeks and we need respond this week other wise our season is shot.

Mate, let go of it and admit that you were beaten by a better team on the day. Do you honestly think that everytime someone plays YSE that they have there best team in and have a day to remember? Well I can assure that Laverton did not have its best team at all on the day. You also kicked 3 trash time goals to bring the score back to a respectable loss other wise it was a 50 pt loss instead of the 29pts it was!

Cain, i am sure most sides are in the same boat. Albanvale are yet to play 4 quarters ether, but we are still managing to win games of football, bar Saturday when we were ordinary and very dissapointed with our hardness as pointed out on here, which we pride ourselves on. Im sure Jugga at Parkside would not be satisfied with some of their victories or for that matter North Foots.
The fact is the good sides can play in patches against some of the middle teams and get away with wins, however if you play in patches against the best you get cut up, as we did on Sat. The middle sides have to be up every week and if your not it means you are not good enough, cant come on here and say IF, IF , IF.

IF we played 4 quarters of our best footy we can beat anyone, fact is we are not. If we dont ( like everyone ) you wont go far.

Albanvale are there abouts with Nth Footscray
Deer Park have impressed but time will tell should be there abouts clipping at the heels of the cobras and devils
Lavo look most likely team to finish 5th contesting with Yarra and Brookers
Yarraville have gone off the boil a bit losing 2 winable matches
Braybrook :S had a very hard start to the year and had injuries will definatly improve
Coburg don't think they have the cattle to make finals not terrible though
Whyndamvale they deserve better than 2nd last to be fair have been compettive
Nth Sunshine might make the grade if there was a div 3 wooden spooners

I can assure you i am alive and awake....

If you read my take on matches i always give full credit to the winning side as they where the better side on the day. Lets move on we know we are in a form slump and playing shocking football atm. We are so much better than we have performed over the last few weeks and all the talk on here is not going to do anything, actions speak louder than words and we can start to turn it around this week against Vales.

this game will come down to one thing HARDNESS and nth (soft) footscray havnt even heard of that word. talking bout down hill skiers albanvale better watch out on the snow slopes coz nth foots will be skiing right behind u after this week. nth have become experts at down hill skiing after big games, thats there secret on avoiding divy 1.

When we played Yarraville you guys had nobody who could play on Wells, Kennedy or Zurek for that matter. Your best option for Zurek was Leroy Collier who is ordinary at best and i know because i went to high school with him.

Wyndhamvale will give Yarraville/Seddon an almighty run for their money. If i was putting money on it id go the Vales.

And for you Weapons .... Are you still playing champ?

nope there are calls for me to comeback cause im such an experianced smart footballer........bahaha stacks........nah im not playing but i will rock down for a couple of woodstock and cola's........you know the ones 15%free.....im sure you guys still stock them in the fridge.......

im changing my mind deer park to win by 18 pts........looking at the stats(not 100% sure if they are correct or not) on wrfl web site........we have too many scoring options for lavo to handle........zurek the only standout kicking their goals........we have a new bloke(who i think can play on/beat kennedy depending on the structure we've got) who has kicked 12 or 13 goals the last 3 weeks and 5 or 6 blokes who can kick bags of 4 or 5 goals each.........

Im picking Lavo to win.. the boys in the last 3 weeks have played fantastic and have played very attractive football. I just think at home in front of a Laverton crowd the boys have too much to play for.

I think this is a huge game for both sides but i think it is a real must win for d/p, in the last couple weeks d/p have beaten nth footscray and pushed albanvale all the way but over last couple years have been known to drop games that they should win

Cant wait to hear the outcome of Parkside/North Footscray, will be a cracker. I havnt had a chance to see Parkside play this year, but if all the chit chat is true i think they will take the points, although id like to see the underdogs get up. (Parkside by 2 goals)

Deer Park / Lavo, i think will be a good old fashioned hard game of aussie rules. Think Deer Park will get over the line due to their options up forward and the fact that Rizzo is starting to hit some good form after being hampered with injuries in recent weeks. (Deer Park by 1 goal)

Yaraville / Wyndham Vale (Note Wyndham Vale is two words), will be a good game if the vales believe in themselves and come to play (does Angwin still play football and if so, is he back yet). (Draw)

Coburg / Braybrook will see a return to the winners list for Coburg as they impress their sponsors and bounce back from last week.(Coburg 3 Goals)

Albanvale / North Sunshine will be horrific to watch for north sunshine supporters. North Sunshines current poor form combined with a motivated Albanvale outfit bouncing back after last weeks loss against Parkside will result in north being slaughtered. Honestly hope for the sake of the WRFL as a competition that north make a game of it or even get up and win. (Albanvale 10 goals+ )
