hahahahaha what a load of crap........signing a coach who nobody likes is the wrong way to go about building a bigger and better club.........you's wont be fielding 3 teams cause every 1 will walk out now........you say ''they'' how would you bloody know..........the last few years hahahahaha they got bombed out 2 years ago in the first final by a team of elma fuds.........granted last years performance was good just remember every team will be after heights this year including mine........dont worry about that.......

your the dill that replies back about a ''rumor'' ive herd and it might just be that........who knows........could be true.........?

Just sounds like sour grapes Weapons the way you always find anything or try and start stupid rumours regarding a very passionate football club...

why sour grapes.........?
my club finished 5th and its where i said they would finish.........
heights played well above themselves last year good luck to them and if you are relly fairdinkum except for heights nth foots and west all the other teams went backwards........and there is only 1 way they can go which is a real positive thing for all the teams wanting to be up there this year........

old ones cause of heritage listing they cant be pulled down.......i think community groups will be able to use them as well as the d.p netball club who play across the rd at the d.p club........thats what ive herd any way......

cheers

I wouldn't say the other teams went backwards, I would say that Heights, West and North took major steps forward and the other sides couldnt match it. It will be interesting to see this year if the other sides can bring themselves up to the level set last year by the top three sides.

pull up on that weapons ... i was the captain of those ELMA FUDS and we had a good team that year and very unlucky with injuries.. dont go bagging teams from two years ago. unfortuantly districts doesnt have the juniors like the majority of the clubs in the WRFL and for that club to be in the position they have been in off the field is a credit to Cat, steve kennedy and everyone else associated with them...

Heritage listed wow thats amazing they should pull them down they are terrible

All sounds promising 3K. If you have 65-70 senior players then you will be in a strong position to challenge again.

Any word on Faisel? Has he definitely left the club?

I believe Faisel will train at Parkside with Tats, they will be missed at the club as they are very good players and will do well wherever they go...

i think this year it will be sunny heights , parkside and deer park up there , albanvale and north footscray will finnish under them , you say north took major steps last year but in the finals they got smashed by heights and heights got smashed by west , so i think there was a bit of a gap between those 3 teams

I have no doubt that Deer Park will be strong this year, they will be fitter, hungrier and very well coached. I think this year will be out of Deer Park and Heights with North Footscray snapping at the heels. I am unsure of Parkside it depends who stays and goes but I imagine the clubs pride will be dented so look out cause that usually brings out a tough and hard team.

my predictions at this stage are
deer park - prems
sunny hts - r/u
nth foots
parkside
albanvale

but parkside are a dark horse depending who stays and who they get they could easyly be a flag favorite or just there abouts around 4-6

I agree with this comment on Parkside. Hard to make realistic predictions for another month or two. The top teams tend to not lose too many players. I guess it is just who you can recruit....can you get that key gun forward or couple of midfielders to boost you in that area?

Heights would be favourites and Deer Park will need to recruit plenty of players to be a premiership chance. 4-6 good senior players won't be near enough. I know they were competitive in the elimination final (good gutsy effort with limited cattle) but they were way behind the top 4 teams last year.

I think we will be up there again Weapons. Know more in a few weeks when we are back on the track. Looks like we will pick up a few and have a couple of under 18's who will get a game.
