i didnt say he wasnt a gun just asking wot the conection was with lavo the players mentioned above have been at their respected clubs 4 many years and ul find with greto and mallia have played at their club 4 close 2 20 years.

Coburg Districts V Albanvale. Cobras by 3 goals. Can't afford to underestimate CD though. They have a few solid blokes who hit hard and play their home ground well.
Deer Park V North Footscray. Devils by 3 goals. Gunna be tough as the Lions should be primed for a big one with the opening of their new rooms.
Parkside V Sunshine Heights. Dragons by 5 goals. Heights are a great running team and will enjoy the wide expanses of Merv Hughes oval. Wonder if Paddy Davis will play or is he gone for the year?
Western Magpies V Braybrook. Magpies by 2 goals. Real tight one, but will go with the home team. 5th spot this year is going to be a dog fight between 4 teams.
North Sunshine and Wyndhamvale to draw.

there will be a big crowd rd1........but not for the rooms.......rooms officially open next tuesday a few things needed touching up so keys and final cheque wont be handed over until all is done......
i trained last night and i tell you what the new lights even though all wernt switched on obsolutely fantastic.........word is they are better than st albans when fully operating........thats right look out next year for a few night games.........which would be great........and something different for div 2........
the old saying is rd1 good sides bounce back HOPEFULLY we can get the job done.....wet conditions predicted good to see a good tight tussle......

North Foots. beat DPark by 103 points!
Coburg by 8 goals over Albvanvale
Braybrook beat the Mapgies
Wyndhamvale by a couple of goals over Braybrook
With the rain this morning I was going to change my tip to pick Coburg Districts over the Cobras. I didn't bother as am the only one on the thread who bothered to provide tips for the round! I need another hobby.
Great win for the Devils. Best first half in many years with the scoreline about 15 goals to 1 or 2.
Hayden Phillips, Scott Eldridge, Andrew 'Minty' Monteleone (6 goals), Nick Wilson and Mick Lanciana were best for the Devils.
For Deer Park Skinny (no.5) and Rocky Blyth (3) tried hard.
Dipper and Rizza went off at quarter time, but we were 7 goals up. The ball was only going one way in the 2nd quarter so wouldn't have made difference to the half time lead. Even second half, which turned into a real slog, but we won every quarter so very pleased.
DP were a bit undermanned, with Summers, the Tymms bros and Robertson (who was there watching and is due back) not playing, but nevertheless we have 3 players to come into our best 18 also.
Big night at the club tonight with our Mexican theme function. All our welcome.

here are some words that come straight off the top of my head about the game d/p played today.......soft weak incipid shamefull passengers tried to play dry weather footy played dumb football didnt think about the situation........as well as we were out coached out muscled out talked out played out marked out skilled all over the ground.........im not proud to wear the blue and gold today........yer you can say we were undermaned but at the end of the day the cattle out on the park were asked to do 5 or 6 little things and couldnt even achieve 1 or 2 of them it was dissapointing to watch from the sidelines.......to get out scored 15 or 16 goals to 2 at 1/2 time on a crappy day some real soul searching has to be done........time to act on the players who got found out today.......

yes i have seen the goaties lights......and ive seen ours but not at full strength just yet......and the word is that at full strength ours are better.......anyway who care's.......
