WRFL Div. 2 Season 2008 and Beyond

I would rate the umpiring a 3 out of 10. Old Terry is struggling and kept warning the Braybrook players for giving cheap ones after the ball had been kicked. Be nice if (and his colleague) protected the player with the ball and paid some 50 metre penalties or down the field free kicks. Umpires seemed a bit scared at Braybrook. Bit strange really as though there is some interesting types down there, it is not like a few years back where it was an initimidating place to play.

he was not real flash the week before. i think the count from him may have been 30 to about 10 nth's way so this week it has probably balanced out. doesn't like to ever admit he makes any mistakes either. wears a nice big white wooley jumper with a big collar after the game, looks like he is about to do a shoot for myer mens wear.

Went and watched the Parkside vs coburg game, In the reserves i have never witnessed a cheating dog umpiring the game, he was absolutely disgraceful. He gave away atleast 30 free kicks in the last 5 min + 3 send offs. Coburg should be ashamed of that win, i never want to win a game by cheating. He was very lucky he didnt start a all in brawl, what a clown.

The one thing you fail to acknowledge Tatts is that 30% of Club Umpires know what they are doing, 30% have no idea and the balance cheat .....you need look at your own Club Umpires performance before you start slagging off...oh and another thing your performance after the game hurling abuse and inciting everyone around you towards the Club Umpires was hilarious ...pity you didn't back it up and continue walking towards the escorts because you would have worn one you Dog.....no wonder Heights are better off without you....won't be long before the welcome mat at Parkside is pulled out from under your feet

better off is not the word. not even welcome in for a drink after the game. that's right when we meet later on p i s s off after your game. i could have an educated guess that when he was hurling abuse he was standing amongst a group and not by himself such is the coward he is. he goes on about cats and rats flat out on big footy and the truth is he is both of these. a soft scared won't put his head over the ball footballer and the biggest rat going which i will explain below.

I can't believe that someone would do that. You must be so happy that he has left. Wouldn't want him anywhere near my club with that sort of attitude. Players like that go from club to club because it's all about themselves and not the club. Good pick up for Parkside they must be over the moon.

actually the small ground doesn't suit heights at all. the bigger grounds are much more suited with our fitness and leg speed. we actually enjoy away games where the grounds are bigger.

the battle for 4th and 5th is a good one. the way I see it they all play each other in the second half of the year so have their chance to get the finals spot and no complaints if they don't.

and parkside could be the spokey, i think the word you want is smokey and I don't think so. if they can make the finals and win a final i think they would have done well and can then build for next year.

mate if you think that was umpired fairly by your umpire you wernt watching the game, our umpire could of did the same as your ump and send off 3 players in the last qtr and pay stupid free kicks just to even it up but he didnt, and your ump dreserved a decent spray and for your information tatts was hurling abuse at him from the centre to the gate while 2 coburg officals were walking with him and he didnt wear one so dont no what your on about

i wonder if it was the same umpire that did our game earlier in the year? when i questioned him after the game he went on and on about he umpired 200 games in the diamond valley league. he overruled our umpirre a least 10 times from more than 50m away.cost us the game.

Hey RD1 went down Saturday for a look and the mighty devils, first quarter was impressive then they dropped away in the second,lefted at half time. No 21 in the middle looks like a handy player and good to see Nathan Richardson playing down there.
Travelled to watch second half Nth S/shine/ Magpies, Nth in alot of trouble counted about 10 players, playing ones that couldnt get a game in there twos about 3 years ago, and no them players havent improved either.
Club could be in alot of trouble over the coming years, wouldnt surprised if they folded

Hello Paul3232. Would have said hello if spotted you there mate. Yeah scratchy performance on the weekend, but Braybrook were kicking with a hefty wind in the 2nd quarter.

Lavo just beat NSunshine so not sure how the Magpies are going then. Coach Louey D said on the radio that he felt the Roadrunners possibly should have got the four points.

It's called a combover Tats and the Coburg Districts umpire has probably close to the best in the WRFL. He was actually OK when the Devils played at Cumberland Rd earlier in the year.

I will just clear something up for you mate, Sparrow or sparra is the playing president at parkside. You will find him in his corner at the bar after the game. goes alright on the field too.

Maybe we will have to start calling gooses weapons from now on
