Fair enough but you have forgotten one thing. THE UMPIRES GIVE THE VOTES and they are a strange breed.

Example one - Rob Telfer winning it a few years back at about 37 years of age and playing in a team that won about 5 games.

Example 2 - Dame Williams winning it twice because he had an afro.

Team of the year is usually in the record on GF day for division 2.

only new here, so starting a new thread this way, how ridiculous is that the western times paper week after week give at least a 1/4 page review of williamstown cyms games, one club, against 10 second divvy clubs and we dont even get a mention, anyone know if someone high up at the times is in with the cyms??

i hear ya on that, but michael kennedy is a stand out player, 6ft 3, bald head, 1st ruck ,takes 12-15 marks a game on average, no back chat, smothers, u name it, he has got it, in all my years of predominantly watching divvy 2 games, ive never seen a more dominant player, oh i forgot rene kink playing at newport in the early 80s )))))

I don't think it was just the afro my friend. He can play a bit as well. Ask Karim13, he rates him very highly.

Kennedy will win the comp. medal. Terrific player, but also you would think he would not have many teammates taking votes off him.

I agree his a great player but calm dude it sounds like you want to go down on him.. his the best player in that team by a mile and probably the best ruckman in the comp too.. i said earlier on in the year i thought he would win the B&F simply because he has no one else to take votes away from him and he was the best player at WM this year but he is far from a superstar... against the better teams he started ruck and played back in the hole so ofcourse he was going to take a heap of marks... i cant agree that he dominated games cause i only saw him twice and both times he was far from dominating.. but still all in all a player any club would love to have
