couple of interesting results this weekend,
hoppers bounced back against st albans, altona big winners over port on ports home turf cant of gone down well
i got to watch the devils on the big stage and to steal one of RED DEVILS lines it was Spotty v 22 deers in headlights:thumbsu:

with the year half over, looks like it's Spottie and Albion again, is there another threat from anywhere?

Who is the best of the rest?

Is the five settled or does whovever win out of Hoppers and Sunshine have a real chance of making the finals.

Obviously if Hoppers wins it is all over for Sunshine for the year. what a waste after all the hype at the start of the year with all of their big recruits.

And then there were six.

Sunshine's percentage might help, but they're on the back foot now. Logjam from 3rd to 6th, going to be plenty of 'eight point games' in the second half of the season.

Possibly not such a good career move to cross over to Sunshine Jake, just remember you are always welcome back at Hogans Road.
Patrick Wiggins out for another fews weeks hurting his knee won't help, only to balance the books at Sunshine.

When do clearances finish? would love to see Jake running around in a Hoppers jumper... might give him a quick call ;)

Would be fantastic if we can get that across the line, rumors a circulating that there is trouble a plenty at Sunshine.

dont think anyone rfom Sunshine has even posted on here since the season started..

they have had 3 wins, Ordern, Heights and North F... Thats a horrible result for a club who was being talked up as a top 3 side.. and even worse, most of the talk was coming from them!

Very true about horrible results! Very disappointing so far. But untrue about the talk coming from Sunshine. We lost two good players and recruited two good players. And one of them has played one game. No hype or talking up there from us. A challenge ahead for Brett and the boys to get something out of the season.

Sunshine are not that bad, they have lost by no more than 20 odd points to the 5-6 top sides Spotty included, in any of those games they perhaps had there chances to win. They will be a side heading into the final stages of the season that will be hard to beat, the hype around them at the start of the season was warranted due to the recruiting and the list they have, things just havent panned out.

How did Simon Wiggins pull up from being K/O'd? he was all over the shop for a good 3-4 mins. Great tackle by our bloke but there was genuine concern from our camp about him, hope he pulled up ok.

I was going to stay off bigfooty but have been asked to come on a fire things up a little, from players and supporters from other teams male and female.

I'll start with agreeing with you tige. Sunshine have been a little stiff with some injuries, lost a few quality players from last year, and have not had d.jacobs at all really. Take P Wiggins out and that leaves a big whole up forward.
They have been in winning positions late in most games, a little fine tuning from the players and the coaching staff and i'm sure they will have solid second half of the year.
They have a great coach even though i mite be biased!

Got to watch colts for the first time this year, also have a few injuries at the moment but do have a quality side and i'm sure if we put 4 quarters together we have the abilty to beat any team....in saying that i'm yet to see spotty or albion.
Colts had their chances on saturday hit the front in the last and probably thought the wind would do the rest, unfortunately we allowed a few goals on end to probably take the game away from us. Good contest though.
St.albans are coached very well and stick to their structures, especially when moving the ball into fwd 50.
It was predictable and i think their players benefited from it.

Colts, sunshine this week should be a cracker, hopefully we can end my good mate's season. Colts need a win to sure up a finals berth.

Here is something had a run and then some lunch today with W.Carey.
He is definately playing one game with Marby and a massive chance to play one game for the colts after the ledgends game!!
Would be massive for the colts to have the greatest player of all time line up for 1 game....He is a local!!

So Carey plays for marby this weekend
gets clearance to colts next week
plays in legends game on the 5th
then backs up in a game against albion on the 9th
NOT GOING TO HAPPEN

Carey definitely playing for Marby but more so for the fact he will run around with Kade, dont think he'll be lining up for Colts but who knows.
