WRFL Division 2 - 2013

Rumour has it that Parkside will have a u/18 team this season and will be coached by Rob Fava who had the boys at West Footscray last season North Footscray the season before and Yarraville the year before that. After making the finals last year at west with first year u/18 i thought west would be a very hard side to beat this year only to find out he has burned that club just like he did with the devils the year before after winning a flag with the 16s. He may get to coach 20 clubs in 20 years

Few new faces and senior quality players down at Tarneit again tonight. They are building along nicely now from what I have seen.

Will be checking up on Manor Lakes next week see how they are travelling

Tarneit better hope mal hartshorne hasn't brought any laverton misfits with him

Probably one of the most lob sided comes in the state. So when you say even, do you mean the top 3 sides will only belt the bottom bunch by 90 instead of three figures.
After 3 weeks, the top 3-4 will be in concrete. Thrilling

Obviously Laverton/North Sunshine will probably be on the other end of some hidings. However I think some of those teams from 4/5-10 may improve a bit. Heights for 1 will improve, north by the sound of things will be competitive, Wests will be a heap better as will Caro Springs. You would also think that sanc lakes with the natural progression of kids should improve also. Therefore if the middle range improve and you'd imagine the top 4 remain steady we will be in for a solid div 2 (once the split into div2/3 occurs)
So you think the top 3 from last year will dominate again?? without any new challengers?

Would expect Glenorden Manor Lakes Wyndhamvale North Footscray Sunshine Heights Parkside too be in the divvy 2 after 13 rounds with West Footscray and one other

Marcus Kenny is one of them apparently... Kicked bags of goals in premier edfl this year will dominate wrfl div 2

They have signed Kenny & his two best mates from Airport West.
All three will dominate div 2 wrfl quite easily, they did in EDFL Premier Div last season.

Marcus Kenny is a freak! 70+ goals this year in EDFL Premier division and 100+ goals the year before, there is no Backman in this comp good enough to stop him. If Parkside has signed him it is there best pick up since been relegated. Andrew Walsh and Grant Sykes are the other 2 players both senior Premier Divison players.

Will delivery play a part though in WRFL Div 2. That's usually what holds the better forwards back

He is still going to be PenAndPaperJosh, but he is also the senior coach of the Laverton Cricket Club, im sure he will make it down to some nights during the pre-season
He is only an assistant down at Tarneit from my understanding anyway. Don't think he will have a massive say in what goes on I wouldn't think, especially since he has prior commitments with Lavo

If Kenny has signed it would almost be enough to get them over the line. Regardless of delivery mark him down for 100. Big get though and shows how keen Parkside are to get back into Div 1. Signing him would not leave much change from $1000 a game.
